"Tell me about your parents."

I say to Harry, our hands intertwined as we strolled through the garden. I feel Harry tense and I stop walking, about to reassure him that he doesn't have to foreclose memories of his parents if he's uncomfortable. That was, until he spoke.

"My Mother was too kind for this world. She saw the good in the worse of people. Tha', unfortunately, was 'er downfall. My Father was a completely different story. He was cruel. He would always fin' the worse in people. However, he trusted the wron' people. Tha' led to 'is ultimate demise."

Through Harry speaking, we had started strolling again, our fingers still intertwined. My heart aches for him. The only thing he has to say about his parents were that their personalities were what got them killed.

"What about your upbringing? What was that like?"

I question him, hoping that I haven't pushed the subject too far. Surprisingly, he actually answers the question truthfully. Maybe it's because he trusts me?

"I rarely saw ma Father; he was always workin'. Ma Mother was a different story; she would take Gem an' I to the bakery, the library an' spend a lot of time with us."

A small smile lite up his face when he spoke of his Mother and Gemma. I felt sorry that he didn't have a loveable Father like I did, but I envy the Mother he had. We both have one shit parent; something we have in common.

"Wha' bout you? Wha' was it like with ya Father round?"

He asks, nudging my shoulder as we come to a stop, right in front of a bench where we sit down, hands still intertwined with each other. I sigh.

"In a word? Amazing. My Dad only stayed because of me. He knew how abusive my Mother was, and he would stop her by sacrificing himself. However, he wasn't always there, and when he died..."

"No one was there to stop 'er."

Harry finishes for me and I give a stiff nod. He doesn't know the half of the abuse... and it's gonna stay that way.

Rushing through the house, I was yet to see Harry. He knew that Gemma, Leerey, him and I are going on a double date today and he's nowhere to be seen. He really frustrates me sometimes, but his booty makes up for it (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

"Niall! Have you seen Harry?"

I stop Niall, throwing my question at him. His eyes are wide as saucers and he nods.

"He's in the yard with Louis. He's checking the army groups strengths."

I thank him quickly and immediately take off for the yard. When I get my hands on my soulmate, he's going to wish he was dead! When I get to the yard, he is shouting commands at the members of the army group, Louis right behind him.

"H?"

I raise my voice, trying to be heard over his. His whole body immediately relaxes and it brings a smile to my face knowing that I have such an effect on him. He turns to Louis and mutters something to him before making his way over to me, leaving Louis in charge once again.

"Hi, Baby."

He smiles, leaning down to kiss me. I respond, no matter how mad I am at him. Oh, sparks, sparks, sparks. I wait until he pulls away to speak.

"Gemma and Leerey are waiting for us."

I say and he's face morph's into one of realization, causing me to nod sarcastically. He sighs and glances back at the army group, seeing them taking commands from Louis, and nods. He then turns back to me.

"Let's go."

He says and grabs my hand, rushing us through the house, to the front, where Gemma and Leerey are waiting in a car.
