Whenever I try to remember
Some of my happier moments
They always seem to dissappear
The harder I try
Whether it be my parent's wedding
Or an afternoon at a park
A concert I attended
Or even a first kiss
I try so hard to relive it
And I end up feeling sad
I cannot reach it
I cannot remember
As soon as I touch it
It disappears like a mirage
I honestly wish I could remember
Not to relive it
But to give me the courage
To make more
