Her time now is limited
Her breath continuously shortened
Her memories of her prime
Are decreasing with time
She does not need a miracle
For she has had her fair share
What she needs now is rest
Of that we are aware
And it kills me seeing her like this
For I knew of someone stronger
Someone who would pick me up from school
Someone who would keep me
From acting like a fool
But now she's being stripped of everything
That made her who she was
All that is left is an empty body
Unfairly and just because
Oh Lord please do show mercy
Let her reach her peak
Because this world is now too much for her
It hurts her just to think
I know this will hurt us all
More than we can imagine
But in the end, it will be us on the floor
And her the one left standing
