There isn't much difference
Between love and hate
They both bring emotion
Of which I can relate
Like the mere thought of a person
Sets my heart afire
It fills me up with such rage
It isn't something to desire
Or seeing a picture that you love
That time has already forgotten
Of memories that once was
Some that leave you rotten
Just like hot and cold water
Will both freeze much faster
Than water left alone
Away from all disaster
What I am trying to say
Is that both bring strong emotion
And separating the two
Requires much time and devotion
