“Rachel!”

“Yes?” She was in her room cleaning up.

“I had this news to tell you about?”

“What is it?” her head appeared on her bedroom door.

“Well, you know that wedding in Vegas last night?”

“Yes? You had your first kiss last night. Ain’t it a good dare?”

“Your stupid dare having us wed in Vegas is like very, very legitimate. It was not a fake wedding. And I’ll be moving with Caleb tonight.”

“What? What? WHAT? YOU ARE MOVING?”

“Look at you, I told you I was married and you were shocked at the news of me moving out?” She sat on the edge of her bed and her hand was on her forehead. “You got married because of me, and before me too.”

“My husband said that I should move in exchange of having no sex with him. So in less than an hour he would be in here collecting my stuff so help me pack up.”

“Hey Eyre, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know.”

“Well. It’s alright just help me pack.” Rachel was crying her eyes out apologizing and at the same time packing my things. And I was assuring her it was alright, I’m gonna be fine and helping her pack my things. A knock on the door made us stop. Rachel opened the door. It was Caleb wearing his annoying smirk again.

“Is there a Mrs. Waters in here? I’m here to pick her up.”

“Oh gods Caleb, take care of my best friend. She gets hungry always so you should store lots of food in your fridge. She loves movies so you should rent a movie every now and then. And she really loves reading so give her a book every 2 to 3 days.”

“Rachel stop. I’m gonna be fine.” I ordered.

“You are scaring me woman.” Caleb said.

“Oh Rachel, please do continue.” I grinned.

“She easily gets cold so give her a warm cozy bed or a warm blanket. She gets cranky when she’s in her period and you can tame her with ice cream and cheeseburgers.” Her talking goes on and on. And I thought that it would scare Caleb off the deal but no, his amusement grew bigger.

We got the last boxes out of Rachel’s dorm got it into the moving van. Few minutes later we were in front of Caleb’s apartment building.

“What did you do with your roommate?” I asked him while I was getting few of the boxes.

“I never had one.” he revealed.

“Bet they just couldn’t live with you.”  He smirked again. Okay, what is with that smirk of his? It really annoys me. We had all the boxes in the cart he borrowed. He wheeled the cart into the elevator. He pushed the button for the 28th floor.

The way up to the 28th floor was really awkward and really, really quiet. We got out the elevator and walked a couple of feet. He stopped at a silver door with a pin lock.  He pressed some buttons and it made the yellow blinking light green and the door open.

He pushed in the cart inside his apartment. I followed him carrying my lumpy space princess stuffed animal. Whoa, I knew he was rich but I didn’t know he was this rich.

“Welcome to your new home babe.”

“Welcome to Mars.” I said meekly to myself.

“What?”

“So where is my room?”

“Our room babe. Our room. It’s the 2nd door from the left.”

“Our room? This big apartment and you only got a room in here?”
