Caleb had no classes today so he said that he would be going with me and Rachel to the pictorials.

Rachel spent the night at the apartment doing my hair for today. I never imagined that doing your hair would be tiring and could eat a lot time. She also thank the gods for me having long hair. She said that she could do many things with that hair.

She curled it and made it stay put. I slid in a red dress that Rachel picked for me. It’s a simple red dress that was hugging my curves. Up to the mid height of my thighs.

Caleb dropped us in school with his Porsche. Rachel was admiring the car inside and out and told us that Adam had a yellow Chevrolet that she really hated.

“Well Adam had a weird obsession on yellow stuff.” Caleb said.

“Yes. I know. It scares me sometimes actually. I am hoping that maybe one day when we are married our house won’t be painted yellow.

We laughed at the thought of Rachel and Adam would live in a house that is painted yellow. It’s not in their personality to do that. Adam loved yellow but he wouldn’t risk their house to be painted yellow.

We arrived at the meeting place early exactly 10am. Gabriella was there already and so is my partner on the pageant. We bid our greeting to them and introduced ourselves at one another.

So my partner’s name is Peter Black. I know him. Last time I checked he is the hottest dude on the CE department. I had a crush on him when I was a freshmen and he was a sophomore.

“We are heading on a construction site for the pictorial so the one with cars you follow that van over there.” Gabriella pointed on a black van with the crest of the school.

So we all followed that van to a construction site 30 minutes away from the university.

Some dudes with the cameras brought their lightings with them. Peter was the first to do his thing in front of the camera. Well it was a bit easy for him. I think he has done this a couple of times before and he does modeling for his part time job.

I looked at him intently and decided to imitate them for later. But I think not. I saw some magazines last night for tips and I decided to imitate them today.

Gabriella called me to do mine. At first it was a bit hard for me to do it. Then they told me to just be myself and relax a bit. I did. And next thing I knew I was breezing my way through it.

They enjoyed taking pictures of me and I enjoyed myself too. I did some poses that imitates an engineer in the site. Like doing commands and holding a blueprint and my most favorite pose was I was holding a shovel with my left foot on the shovel while holding the handle with my left hand and look at the camera imitating a model’s face.

It turned out good. I thought that it was not.

Next shots was with my partner. He taught me how we should do it and it turns our great. I really love the pictures.

Gabriella said that the pictures will be up later that evening when the photographers edited it with our names on it. I asked them if I could get a copy of it and they told me they will be sending it through my email.

Peter asked me if I was interested in modeling, he told me that I was a natural at it and he could recommend me on his agent. I turned down of course. I told him that this is just a onetime thing. But he gave me his number just in case I changed my mind.

I really had fun doing the pictorial. A photographer said that I was a natural. Sheesh. They just want to complement me. I bet Gabrielle said that to him.

Caleb, Rachel and I went home and I texted Trisha to come by if she needed anything with the costume.

Gabriella texted me to be in the auditorium tomorrow morning for the talent. Oh shoot. The talent. I don’t know what to do. It slept out my mind.

Rachel head home. She said that she must sleep. So I let her. Trisha texted me that she had it all under control too.

Now all I need to think is what I’m gonna do tomorrow. One at a time Eyre, you’re gonna make this. You can do this. You can surpass this. You are a fighter but you are not born for this.

For an Optimist, I’m pretty Pessimist. Hey a title of a Paramore song in reverse.
