Jamie

Once I'd explained everything to Erin, I headed over to the palace with her. I wasn't sure this was a good idea, you know, her seeing Jay again after all this time apart. But she said she saw him at the dance last night, and things were okay between them. They had a mutual interest last night I guess; finding out what the hell had happened with me. I need to apologise to Jay. And Joel. And everyone else for that matter. I'll start with Jay. And Erin and I leaving will have given Shaun a chance to make his escape from my house!

Once at the palace, Erin and I head around back, like we usually do. I'm a little surprised at how confident she seems right now, pulling the patio doors open and walking in like she owns the place. Jay must have mentioned the fact that his parents are out of town last night, otherwise she wouldn't be acting so familiar. Honestly, I thought she'd be a little nervous about coming over here. She hasn't been here since she told Jay she was leaving for New York. Well, whatever. Erin's just full of surprises, she always has been.

"I left my phone at home, can you call him? We'll never find him in here." I tell her as she makes her way towards the main foyer and I see Benji happily running towards us. I smile and kneel down to pet my dog. I'm so grateful that Jay took him over here last night, and I feel bad for pretty much abandoning him. Poor guy.

"He'll be in his room. Come on." Erin doesn't even turn her head to look at me. It is early, though, I guess she's right.

I call out to Jay the minute we step onto his floor of the mansion, with Benji trotting in after us at our heels. I do not want Erin catching Jay in only his underwear, or even worse, in bed with some girl. I don't know what he got up to last night, but I do know he's been on a mission to hook up, in the hopes of getting over Erin.

He's up and dressed though, much to my surprise, sitting on the couch in his sitting room with his phone pressed up to his ear. I glance between him and Erin, looking for a reaction, but neither of them even flinch at the sight of each other. Weird.

"Fuck, this isn't good." He says, his gaze fixed on Erin. "Jamie's here now, I'll tell her to call him."

He ends his phone call and stands up, turning his attention to me. He looks worried. Shit.

"Jay, what's going on?" Erin demands in her typical rude fashion.

"That was Joel. Sarah spent the night at his apartment." Jay informs us. I don't bat an eyelid at this. Erin already told me she lost Sarah at the dance when everyone was running around trying to find out what was going on with me, and Joel's such a good guy, of course he would have offered the random blonde chick from New York some sanctuary for the night. Erin and Jay aren't phased by this news either, we all know how moral and good Joel is. He doesn't even know Sarah, he's such a gem, seriously.

"Sarah's on the phone to Noah right now, he's explained everything to her." Jay says, his worried expression landing on me again. He's explained everything to Sarah, his old friend from High school, huh? So he's told her all about how he's been screwing Madison Hudson? Awesome.

"I don't wanna hear it, Jay." I say, sitting down on the couch and laying my head back. I really don't wanna hear anything about Noah. Not today.

"You need to hear this, Jame." Jay says gently, scooting over on the sofa so that he's next to me. "It's all been a big misunderstanding. He didn't sleep with Madison."

Okay. Wait. What!? How does Jay know about this!?

"Madison's dating Will now. He's the one she was with Friday night. She was wearing Wills shirt when you saw her yesterday. And she's been friendly with Noah because she's Will's girlfriend now. That's it." Jay explains, and I frown in confusion.
