Jamie

Sarah and Erin are driving back to the city tonight, so we're all congregating at my place again, to say our goodbyes. Me, Erin, Sarah, Jay, Joel and Patrick are here. I feel weird, to be honest. I wasn't expecting to see Erin at all this weekend, but suddenly I find myself wishing she weren't leaving so soon.

"Can't you stay again tonight?" I ask her, pouting. "You haven't ditched at all since school started."

"Sarah's my ride, Jame." Erin says, smiling at me with pity. "We gotta get going."

"I wouldn't mind ditching tomorrow." Sarah chimes in, and my eyes widen in excitement. "Zach and Noah could show me around a little or whatever while you guys hang out."

My smile immediately fades at the mention of Noah's name. I don't wanna think about him, much less talk about him. I already told the guys what happened at the park earlier, and I asked them not to mention him in front of me again. I'm done with him. Done.

"Sorry, Jame." Sarah says sheepishly. "What I meant to say was, I could catch up with some people I know from New York... Or I could hang with these losers."
She inclines her head at my boys and I smile. She's awesome, I really do like Sarah.

"You wanna hang out with me tonight? Not a problem." Patrick jumps in immediately. "We could go see a movie, or go out for a drink, or cut the crap and have a drink at my place. Joel will make himself scarce, right buddy?"

Patrick winks at Joel, and Joel glares at him. Sarah just laughs.

"I kinda wanna see the Grill, could we go there?" She asks, addressing all of my boys.

"Sure." Jay shrugs his shoulders.

"We can get you into the Grill, no problem." Patrick says confidently. "I'll tell Reggie you're my girlfriend."

"Shut up, P." Joel says, before turning to face me and Erin. "You guys wanna come too?"

"Nah, you guys smuggled me into the Grill loads of times last year. I wanna have some one-to-one time with Jamie tonight if that's okay." She raises her eyebrows at me, like she wants me to pick up a vibe. I get it. She wants to talk to me about something... Three guesses what. I look over at Jay, and he's carefully studying the tiles on the ceiling. Yeah.

"We'll stay here tonight. You can crash here if you want, Sarah." I offer.

"Oh, please. She stayed at my place last night, she can stay there again." Patrick says, grinning at Sarah.

"You weren't even there! Shut up!" Joel hisses at him as Sarah giggles.

"I'll come back here later tonight, thanks Jamie." Sarah smiles at me before heading out with my boys. She'll be fine with them. Well, I'm glad Joel and Jay are going. She'll be fine with them.

"So." Erin says, as soon as the doors close behind our friends. "I slept with Jay last night."

I stare at her, waiting for more. While I am shocked, I'm not as shocked as I would have been a couple of days ago. It's been pretty obvious that something happened between them last night. I wasn't exactly expecting this, though.

"Well?!" She says, widening her eyes at me. "Aren't you gonna freak out?!"

"No." I reply calmly. "I'll freak out once you give me all the details."
