JUDITH's POV;
I woke up started by the shrill voice of mom dominating the alarm on my bedside. My head spins by the sudden impact as my mind absorbs the surrounding. Realizing its church day I rushed to the bathroom for the quickest grooming session.
The 'no breakfast punishment' was severely imposed on me, especially cause I have a good appetite and chew food quite often than cows do. A mouthful of lectures from both parents was enough to bleed my ears. We enter the church hastily occupying our unusual seats beside the Martians and then the service begins.
I always enjoy church service, everyone wishing each other with a cheerful heart is one scene I always admire. Suddenly I feel a sudden pull admitting the crowd, pulling me to the parking lot.
"Hi" He greets
"Hi?...... How did you come here? why are you here? how......"
"Why do you always ask so many questions?"
"Tell me!"
"I just wanted to know what the church does."
I narrow my eyes, "You are really not the curious type."
"You still don't know me."He crosses his arms against his chest making me roll my eyes.
"Hannah's back?"He quirks
"No"
After an uncomfortable silence, Luke opens up, "I've been reading THE BIBLE lately and you won't believe I have covered so many chapters than any other book."
"Really?"
"So I was just wondering if we could BIBLE study together?"He scratched his neck nervously.
I was in such awe, I couldn't believe Luke Marshall would want to BIBLE study with me. I gulped down my excitement and replied, "Sure, I'm so honoured to do it."
"Okay, BIBLE-mate we start classes from tomorrow."We agree on a formal handshake.
I sat on my bed simply liberating my mind to freedom. This is usually my BIBLE study time since my BIBLE is with Luke I didn't know what to do. My mind focuses on Luke, what drew him to the BIBLE? what drew him to the church? It's definitely JESUS!
"LORD, thank you for touching Luke, for making him understand your everlasting love. May he thirst more for you, LORD, that he may be saved in your mighty grace and be a perfect example of your love. Put those words in my mouth, the words of wisdom that I may teach your word accordingly. I ask this in your most precious name. Amen
