It's Monday morning, the school filled with morning chaos. I walk past the overcrowded corridor, bumping into people I do not know and they throw looks I don't like. Suddenly I hear a familiar voice screech my name. I spin around to encounter that same angel in front of me. Her face is plastered with a large smile and excitement clearly reads her face. She fills the gap between us with a tight hug, "I missed you so much!" She whispered into my ears, I could feel the heavy desperation in her tone.

"I missed you too!"I really did. We pull apart and I could clearly notice her tanned and tired face behind that mask of happiness she wore.

"What did I miss?" Hannah asked once we are seated in class. Then all the events of last week flooded in my mind, I can't tell her Luke's feelings, the torture I went through; I had to really zip my mouth."Not much." I shrug. The bell rings as Mr.Smith enters the class with a bundle of papers.

"I was surprised how the class attempted this test." He began with a smile, "What surprised me, even more, was that the best scorer of the class was......."He announces.

He picks up a sheet and observes it proudly, "Luke Marshall." He proclaims as the class gasp(I heard mainly female gasp or the guys sounded girlish I couldn't differentiate), my jaw loses its grip and so does every one of them. Mr. Smith applauds cheerfully as his eyes glisten with happiness. He hands the test sheet to Luke and pats his back saying, "Work had the same way son."Nudging his shoulders. He faces the class applauding him cheerfully as his eyes scan the class. His gaze lands on me and he flashes that thankful smile that automatically reflects on me, his face turns tomato red when he notices Hannah beside him and sheepishly turns away.

"This test was deliberately tough and Mr. Marshall succeeded with full marks, there was no possibility that he cheated cause I stood right beside." This caused the class into a fit of laughter."Special thanks to Ms.Williams for tutoring him." I could feel everyone's eyes drilling into me, especially girls and especially Hannah. I could feel the millions of questions arising in her head, I couldn't face her instead I glued my eyes to my lap.

"From when did the tutoring begin?"Hannah inquired grumpily, her left brows reaching up to her hair. I sighed loudly and told her everything only what happened in class not Luke's love drama. She looked convinced rather than suspect some raw hidden truth.

Later we occupied our usual seats in the cafeteria, grateful that Hannah had finally returned after that lonely eating I had in the past week. Suddenly someone places their plate on our table, my eyes crawl up to that tall figure, it"s him, I should have guessed. "Can I join?" Luke asks making those puppy eyes. Hannah and I exchange looks as if asking permission and she quickly agreed.

After he settles down I remind Hannah that it is her turn to say grace. We do it daily but this time there was Luke. "Luke, we pray before our meals and we hold each other's hands and pray, "I say, he immediately dropped his spoon and held our hands. Hannah softly prayed and additionally thanked GOD for Luke joining us. As we munched our food Luke's eyes suddenly landed on me, "Wouldn't you introduce me to your friend?"He asked, does he even need an introduction.

"Hannah this is Luke and Luke this is Hannah," I reply dryly, I suck in the introduction. They both exchange smiles but for Luke, it was more than a smile.
