I feel an uneasy feeling the following day, a sort of fear, a heavy heart maybe it's because of him. What if he comes back again, if he knew my place he would definitely know Hannah's too. I reach for my BIBLE and I encounter my favorite verses, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified; for the Lord, your God will be with you wherever you go."Joshua 1:9.

GOD's words the greatest inspiration. I could feel a warm blanket of protection on me.

Walking down the chaotic hallway, with gossip on high fever, I'm strangely lost amidst the teenagers. My eyes drift to the large notice board and with a quick glance, I walk down again finding normal. Suddenly my gaze lands on the sports column(the side I never viewed) a familiar face stood among a group of muscular players. Inching closer I clarify my mind that it is the same guy through the window. The bell rings signaling that I'm late to class. Being late was so alien to me. I slipped into the class on time as Mr. Smith enters the class behind me.

He began his lecture with a smile I always admire. Midway he paused, his gaze fixed behind me, I didn't care. Jotting down the lecture was more important than witnessing the cliche' high school drama.

I felt a dip on the seat beside me, a presence quite familiar.

"You are seated on this very seat from the following classes." Mr. Smith orders the person beside me.

I turn to see the person overcoming the budding curiosity, when my heart thuds a fearful beat, recognizing the greatest Luke Marshall of all times.

"Hey, sweetheart." He greets grumpily.

I flip my head back again and try to concentrate on the class again but for the very first time, I feel the pain of distraction. My mind twisted with questions, the ones that grew scarier every moment. The class was finally dismissed but I felt annoyed for missing so many notes. So I gather my books and turn my heels to the cafeteria.

Seated on our usual seat I call Hannah multiple times but it hopelessly seems switched off. Opening the inbox to find Hannah's short message, "A surprise trip to Mayo."

After a meaningful prayer, I drive into the plate satisfying my tummy. Reaching the Library after a heavy lunch I pick up the book which I last left unfinished. Still halfway through the book when I hear someone clearing their throat beside me. Dropping my book down on the table, I watch how his face molds into a smile.

"Where is she?" He questions.

"On a vacation, "I answer avoiding his gaze.

He stitches his eyebrows together.

I pull out my phone and flash the message to his face, "So her name is Hannah."

 I mentally slap myself.

"When will she be back?"

"You can very well see that she has not answered my text later."

He lets out a groan.

"Judi, why don't you just help! I will do anything for her, even give my life but just help me!" He begs.

"No! never! I won't let her a guy like you be around her, who changes girlfriend-like shirts and dumps them like trash. I can't afford to see her broken for a guy who deserves nothing."The words flowed out like rain, too harsh but I can't understand why I'm so rude around him.

He slams his fist on the desk as he disappears in fury among the books.

LORD forgive me! And give him peace.
