LUKE's POV;

A man in a black tux, white shirt, and a matching black bow stared at me from the long rectangular dresser.

Date? Really Luke Marshall is going on a date? You know I always prefer Marshall. To be honest, it's my first date and I'm glad I'm going with her, my princess. With a final dash of perfume, I exit my rented apartment. My phone alarms at the seven pm timer I set, reflecting my pounding heart.

After a smooth drive, I rest my car on the driveway; texting her of my arrival. My fingers trembling abnormally. Ting - tong went the doorbell, making footsteps audible to my nearest surrounding.

"Good evening Mr. Williams."

"Good evening Luke." He smiles warmly.

"Keep her happy or I will punch that gut out of you." He clenched his fist tight.

I gulp nervously.

My breathing suddenly stops, my body froze as I see Judith descending down the stairs her mother trailing behind her. She wore a rose-red dress sculpturing her feminine frame, extending down to her knees, exposing her bare arms.

"Honey stop scaring the boy." Mrs. Williams responds, reaching towards his side.

I offer the flowers to her, matching her dress perfectly. She blushes brightly as though the flowers reflected on her cheeks. She takes her hand in mine as we walk to the car for our special night.

"Have fun tonight." Her mother exclaims.

I blind her eyes with a cloth, guiding her to the floral arrangement I prepared for this special night. She holds me tightly too scared to let go.

I direct her to the lighted area of a well-maintained lawn, bright energy bulbs hung in clusters from the center of the wooden tent, small dining arranged neatly with flowers and lamps.

"Can I see?" She asked gently.

I untie the cloth, restoring her vision. Her expression turned to awe, bringing her fingers to her mouth.

"It's just too simple..... it's...nothing..great..."

"Luke."

"I tried....It..."

"It's perfect." She pronounced genuinely.

She tugs her arm around mine as we step into our romantic light. I pull the chair for her making her comfortable in that wooden chair.

"So tell me about yourself." I began.

"You don't know about me?" She gasps.

"Okay, tell me about myself."

She thought for a while and trailed off talking so much about me that I didn't know.

I in turn tell the best I could about her.

She grinned, satisfying me.

"May I insist on a dance my lady," I ask after we had eaten our dinner.

"Sure."

Soft music plays in the background, swaying our bodies to the silent beats the music could produce. My eyes not leaving hers and her eyes not leaving mine. She looked so gorgeous tonight; it's true GOD creates beauty with ashes. Her hair tied in a messy bun sat comfortably on the back of her head. I kiss her knuckles as I kneel down on my knee opening a case towards her.

She gasps, her fingers covering her pink lips. As I say the words which I had been practicing for so long," Judith will you marry me?"

Tears well up in her eyes, sliding down her cheeks.

"Yes, yes, yes!" She shrieks.

I slide the diamond ring to her finger; happy tears welling in my eyes.

"I have something for you."

I hand over the BIBLE, her BIBLE which I forcibly took from her.

"Thank you. I didn't know you still had it."

" I sure did."

I park the car on the driveway; rushing to her side, swinging the door open. She steps outside, smiling widely at my gesture. We walk hand in hand to her doorstep. She stops in front of the main door turning to my side. She holds my hands in her, her chocolate eyes glisten as she pours out the words which I would always love to hear," It was such an amazing night, the best I could ever imagine... I love you, I love you so much, Luke."

She planted a soft kiss on my cheek, its roots traveling down my entire body.

"I love you too Judith." Before I could kiss her, the door swung open revealing Mr. Williams in his night suit.

She withdrew her hands from mine and ran upstairs.

"Good night son."

"Good night sir."
