AUTHOR's POV;
Judith impatiently waits in the queue, the other students lazily collect their food tray. She wanted to break the line, collect her food, and head to the library. But she never wanted to create unnecessary attention. She grabbed some extra food, ignoring the stares from the lady behind the counter, and rushes to the library.
She slipped through the crowd, carefully handling the tray. A pair of gentle hands stop her, she turns to meet a worried-looking Hannah.
"Slow down Judi! Where are you heading so fast?" Hannah asks.
"I'm going to the library, there are lots of working pending Han." Judith answers quickly, her heels still wouldn't stop running.
"Can I tell you something?" Hannah inquires, not knowing whether she would listen.
"Han, there are just twenty minutes left for a lunch break and I can't afford to lose it."Judith hesitates to respond.
"Okay..........Tell me when you're free." Hannah could sense the urgency in her tone. Judith has always stood beside her, she knew how the science project was really important.
"See you soon," Judith assures.
She reaches the library sneaking the food tray from the librarian. She finds Luke surrounded by a bundle of books, he seriously staring at one. She hands him a sandwich, but he refuses to leave his eyes from an interesting- looking- page.
"This is awesome." He muses, his eyes bulged in fascination.
"Thank you." He utters once his eyes landed on the stranded sandwich.
They jot down the points required simultaneously shoveling their food. After school, they buy stuff head home, and physically work the project on.
They tried really hard, their hope fading away. They wanted to give up especially Luke but Judith stood headstrong ignoring the annoying voices in her brain to quit. This happened almost every day, ate their lunch in the library and spent their time at home.
Luke wanted to ask Thomson himself to prepare the model for them but Judith never agreed.
She protested," This is our project. We must be ready to prepare thousands of the same projects if they ask us. Just by displacing something, we can't earn a scholarship. By every attempt of failure, we learn something new, a deeper understanding of the subject."
After several attempts, they finally prepared the model identical to the blueprint and identical to their thoughts.

AUTHOR's NOTE;
What did Hannah want to say? Keep guessing but don't tell me because I'm trying to make the story less predictable.
Stay in faith.
