As their sixth year at Hogwarts begins, Annalise Wood and James Sirius Potter are at the peak of their rivalry. To say they hated eachother would be an understatement.
Although sometimes they brought out the worst in eachother, they also brought out...

ROXY HAD APOLOGIZED to Annalise several times after their argument in their dorm room. She told her she had no right to cross that line, and that she didn't mean any harm. Her only intention was to look after her friend, just because she was worried about her. Annalise had accepted her apology, knowing that she had never meant to hurt her and not wanting to fight with her best friend much longer.
Everything was back to normal. Well, except for the slight tension between her and Roxy. They had made up and all was well, but both of them could tell that it was tense between them. They used Talia as their buffer, pulling her into their conversations so they wouldn't have to talk to each other alone. The argument about William still loomed in the air, like an invisible wall that was keeping them apart.
Since the quidditch pit was booked the next couple days by Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Ravenclaw, to hold their tryouts and practices, the first quidditch practice of the year was scheduled the next Friday, one week from when tryouts were held.
Annalise was all geared up in her quidditch uniform as she headed out onto the pitch. She had purposely arrived 20 minutes early so she could practice flying on her broom. It had been a while she had played on the Hogwarts quidditch pitch and she wanted to get used to flying around before their first practice.
The sun shone brightly onto her, as she tried to shield her eyes from the blinding sunlight. It was a good day nevertheless, to hold a practice. It wasn't too hot, and it wasn't to cold either, and the light breeze was refreshing.
She mounted her LightningStreak 2001 and took off, speeding through the air. She did a couple of laps around the pitch, before changing speeds, testing out how fast she could go. She imagined herself in a game, and practiced those sharp turns chaser's always needed to make when protecting the quaffle.
Before she knew it James had arrived, and a couple minutes later the rest of the team had also joined them. She flew down once the entire team was there, standing next to James.
James cleared his throat and the chatter began to disappear as everyone began quieting down. "Before we get started, I have prepared a speech to mark the start of quidditch season and to invoke your passion from within." He said seriously, keeping a straight face.
Everyone snorted, holding back their laughter. It was not very often that James was ever serious, and seeing him in such a serious manner was hilarious for the team. He frowned, not expecting that reaction.
"Never thought I'd ever see you this serious." Lily snorted. "Your entire life is one big joke." Everyone laughed as they had all been thinking the same thing.
"Well, what can I say," James said grinning. "Sirius is my middle name."
It was now everyone's turn to groan, as they did everytime James used that joke.
