As their sixth year at Hogwarts begins, Annalise Wood and James Sirius Potter are at the peak of their rivalry. To say they hated eachother would be an understatement.
Although sometimes they brought out the worst in eachother, they also brought out...

"LET US KNOW WHO is the official Gryffindor quidditch captain," Alex said loudly, over the loud chatter of the other students, as they approached the great hall.
"I still think she meant for you guys to be co-captains." Talia insisted, telling them all once again. "Headmistress Mcgonagall doesn't make mistakes. She gave you both the badge for a reason, I'm telling you."
Annalise and James, being their stubborn selves, shook their head in disagreement.
"No way."
"It's a mistake."
Talia finally sighed in defeat, giving up on the two stubborn Gryffindors. "Suit yourselves." She said, shaking her head. "But when you come back, you both will be sulking, and I'll be saying I told you so."
Annalise shook her head once again at her friend, refusing to accept the fact that Mcgonagall meant for them to be co-captains. It was obvious that she had simply made a mistake.
"See you later." She said to the four of them, as they approached the entrance to the great hall. While Roxy, Talia, Asher, Alex, and the rest of the students filed into the great hall to be seated, James and Annalise deviated from the path. They made their way out of the crowd of students and took a right instead on their way to Headmistress Mcgonagall's office.
"Now Wood," James said turning his head to look at her as they walked down the empty hallway. "I realize that when Minnie tells us that I was meant to be captain, it's going to hurt you. I know how much you wanted to be captain. But it's ok. You can even cry if you need to. I'm not going to judge."
Annalise just scowled at him. "Will you just shut up, and stop getting ahead of yourself. I don't think the fact has gotten into your thick skull yet, but you do realize that you might not be quidditch captain right?" She asked him.
"Minnie would never do that to me!" James scoffed, turning away from her. "She'd never admit it, but she has a soft spot for me." He smiled proudly.
"Uh huh." Annalise nodded. "Some soft spot she has. That's why you had 67 detentions last year." She smirked knowing that she had won the argument.
"No- uh- actually," James stuttered not knowing what to say back. He opened his mouth again starting to say something until he was interrupted.
"What are you guys doing here? You're supposed to be in the great hall with the other students."
They both immediately looked ahead to see a frowning Professor Longbottom in front of them, tapping his foot.
"Uncle Neville-" James started to say. Professor Longbottom held up his hand to stop before he could continue and shook his head. "Sorry, forgot." James muttered. "Professor Longbottom, we just need to see Minnie."
