As their sixth year at Hogwarts begins, Annalise Wood and James Sirius Potter are at the peak of their rivalry. To say they hated eachother would be an understatement.
Although sometimes they brought out the worst in eachother, they also brought out...

THE GREAT HALLWAS ALREADY PACKED with students by the time Annalise arrived the next morning for breakfast. Roxy, Alex, and Asher were already seated and enjoying their food. Annalise sat down next to her brother and grabbed the bacon off of his plate, shoving it into her mouth.
Asher glared at her. "Can you ever get your own food?" He snapped at her, smacking her hand away as she tried to grab another piece.
"No." Annalise snorted, filling up her own food with plate. "The reason for your existence is to provide your dear sister with food anytime she wants."
"Technically," Asher said pointing his finger at her. "You're the younger twin. So shouldn't you be catering to my every need?"
"Two minutes Ash." She rolled her eyes. "You're older by two minutes. That's barely anything and it's certainly not enough for you to call yourself the older twin."
"Older is older." Asher shrugged. "I think someone's jealous." He smirked. Annalise was about to respond with another snarky comment when she saw Alex grab a piece of bacon off of Asher's plate.
"Why is Alex allowed to take food off your plate, but I'm not!" She exclaimed, gesturing to Alex. His eyes widened as he quickly shoved the bacon into his mouth before Asher could see. He wasn't quick enough though and Asher glared at him across the table.
"He's not allowed to take food off my plate either!" Asher exclaimed, clearly exasperated by his friends. "Why can't you people just get your own food!" He whined. Annalise and Alex held back a laugh while Roxy refilled Asher's plate with some more bacon so he could stop his complaining.
"Where's Talia?" Annalise asked Roxy.
"She's talking to Evan at the Ravenclaw table." Roxy replied. Officially, according to Hogwarts rules, you had to sit at your house tables for meals. However, students occasionally liked to switch tables for breakfast, and none of the professors really cared enough to enforce it.
"Where's James?" Roxy asked Alex and Asher.
And as if right on cue, James walked up to the table. He sat down right next to her and quickly started eating.
"I found him." Alex laughed pointing to him.
"Why didn't you guys wake me up!" James whined. "I woke up five minutes ago and realized that class starts in twenty minutes, and you know I like to take my time while eating!"
Asher rolled his eyes. "We did wake you up. Twice."
"Well it didn't work!" James exclaimed.
"I even tried dragging you out of bed, and you clung onto that mattress like your life depended on it." Alex chuckled.
