As their sixth year at Hogwarts begins, Annalise Wood and James Sirius Potter are at the peak of their rivalry. To say they hated eachother would be an understatement.
Although sometimes they brought out the worst in eachother, they also brought out...

"YOU WHAT?" Roxy shrieked loudly.
Annalise clamped her hand over her friends mouth, muffling her voice. "Keep it down!" She glared at her. "Do you want the entire school to hear you?" She said, before removing her hands from Roxy's mouth.
Roxy gaped at her. "No way."
Annalise turned to Talia who hadn't say a word and was gaping at her, eyes and mouth wide open. "Talia?" She asked worriedly, waving a hand in front of her face. "Say something please!"
"Let me get this straight." Roxy said shaking her head. "You, Annalise Wood, just asked, James Potter, to fake date you, so you can make William jealous?" Annalise nodded. "And he said yes?" Roxy shrieked once more, her voice getting louder once again.
They heard someone clear their throat behind them as the three of them snapped their heads around to see an angry Madam Pince. "Keep it down! This is a library for goodness sake!" She scowled. They nodded quickly as she trotted away.
Annalise glared at Roxy. "Be quiet! Or we're going to get kicked out!"
Annalise was currently sitting next to her two friends in the library later that night. She had joined them later that evening because she wanted to explain everything that had happened between the morning and then. Specifically about the whole agreement with James. To say they were shocked was an understatement. However, they were taking it better than she had expected.
"I thought you hated him!" Roxy said, throwing her hands into the air.
"I-I do." Annalise stuttered. She paused, biting her lip. "Ok, maybe I don't completely hate him. It's more just a strong dislike most of the time."
Talia was still gaping, her mouth open. "Talia?" Annalise asked again, sighing and rolling her eyes at her shocked friend.
"And you're doing this to make William jealous?" Roxy asked, raising her eyebrows.
"Yes, why else would I do something like this." Annalise ran her hand through her hair. "He's obviously having a great time with Eloise, and I just need to show him that I'm doing fine without him too!"
"But you are doing fine without him!" Roxy replied.
"I know," Annalise nodded. "But I guess I just have the need to make him jealous too."
"Are you sure you're doing this just to make William jealous." Talia asked, finally speaking. "That this doesn't have to do with James?" she questioned.
"Why would this have to do with James?" Annalise asked. "I'm doing this for me. James was just the only person I could ask to do this for me." She explained.
Talia nodded hesitantly, accepting her answer, although Annalise was sure that Talia didn't fully believe her. "Now that I'm thinking about it, it's probably not the best idea." Annalise pursed her lips, rubbing her forehead.
