Chapter 22

~ Miyoung ~
We ran as fast as possible. Yoongi and Taehyung were behind me. Taehyung in the middle and Yoongi in the back.

"Jeez, Miyoung. Can't you run a bit slower?" Taehyung said.

I didn't listen to him. We had to be there as fast as possibe.

"Jeez Tae, I think even Jungkook is faster than you are right now," Yoongi said.

"Hey! That's not nice."

Suddenly I smelled a familiar scent. It wasn't Jungkook's, but also not Jimin's or Hoseok's.

I immediately stopped and raised my nose in the air. Taehyung saw it too late and bumped into me. I fell to the ground and so did Taehyung.

"Oh my god," Yoongi said and laid his hand on his forehead.

"Miyoung! Why are you stopping?" Taehyung asked and stood up.

I also stood up on my four paws and growled a little to show my irritation and disappointment.

"Sorry, ma'am," Taehyung said and rolled his eyes.

I sniffed in the air, again. We had to follow the scent. Maybe it came from where Jungkook was, because I've smelled this scent before.

I turned around to face them and signed with my head to follow me. I didn't even wait for their reply and already ran off.

"Werewolves," Taehyung said and rolled his eyes.

~ Jimin ~
I stared at the black wolf in awe. It was huge. I think twice the size of my wolf.

Jungkook stood already in attacking modus and showed me his teeth.

'Miyoung, where are you. The situation got even worse than it was,' I mind-linked Miyoung.

'We're almost there!'

'Hurry!'

'Has something happened?!'

'No time for explaining! Just hurry up!'

Then suddenly Jungkook attacked. Before I knew, he stood in front of me and bit in my wrist.

Shit! That did hurt like hell.

He then threw me into the air. This was my only chance, so I shifted into my wolf and landed on my paws, well three paws. The bite was deep. Blood was coming out of it, like water out of crane. I'm going to lose too much blood if I don't treat this as soon as possible.

I showed my teeth to him and made myself as big as I could.

I tried to get into his mind, but without success. This wasn't Jungkook, who was controlling him. It was his wolf, who has woken up from his inside.

Then I smelled Miyoung. I turned around and saw her appearing with Taehyung and someone else behind her.

'Jimin!'

She now stood next to me with Taehyung and the other man already looking at Jungkook. Miyoung noticed my injured paw, which looked indeed really bad.

'Shit, what happened? Are you okay?'

'Yes everything is fine. Nothing serious.'

'You have to treat this, it doesn't look good.'

'Yes, I will. But something is a little bit more important than my paw now.'

Miyoung raised her head and saw the Jungkook in this terrifying form.

'J-Jimin, who is this?'

'Miyoung... this is Jungkook'

There was a moment of silence.

'No!' She growled, not believing me.

Taehyung also stared in awe at Jungkook.

"Miyoung, who the hell is this horrible creature?" Taehyung asked with a tone of terror.

"That's Jungkook, Tae," the other boy answered.

~ Miyoung ~
It wasn't true. My mate, looking like a scary creature. So much bigger than I was and blacker than the night. And the worst of all, as a wolf.

"What should we do?" Taehyung asked panicked.

"I don't know. I never though, that this situation would come this far. The only thing we can try is to bring the real Jungkook back so he can control himself. You go first?"

Taehyung swallowed.

"Uh... Ladies first," he said and raised his hand to lead him the way like a butler.

"Just go!"

But before we even got the chance, there came a running Jungkook towards us. He jumped on Yoongi and tried to bite off the parts of his body.

Yoongi of course fought back, but Jungkook was definitely stronger than he was.

"We have to help him!" Taehyung screamed.

Jimin jumped on Jungkook to get him off Yoongi. The battle was now between those two. They looked like two wild beasts, which were fighting for the last piece of meat.

Blood splashing everywhere on the ground and barks were echoing through the woods.

"We have to do something!" Taehyung screamed.

"No shit! But we can't do anything now. Jungkook is on a whole other caliber. We're too weak compared to him."

"Yes, but Jimin is gonna die if this keeps going on!"

I also had to do something. Jimin has always protected me. I can't do nothing. It may be Jungkook... no this isn't Jungkook. This is the filthy hybrid who's not controlling itself. I have to stop him.

Then I ran towards the two and jumped with all my weight on Jungkook.

'Miyoung, no!'

Now the fight was between us. My mate and me. Fighting like he was a rogue. Like we don't know each other. My heart was breaking, because of that idea, but I had to do what was right.

Actually, we were on the same line, if we're talking about strength, but he was just too merciless. I felt pain in my heart if I had to hurt him. But he wasn't thinking like that. He bit me without mercy.

I heard myself crying and my body was begging to let it stop. The bond was fading away, the more he hurt me. My wolf felt betrayal, but also sadness, because she knew he couldn't do anything about it.

I tried to bite back, but he was too fast. My sight became darker and darker and the exhaustion began to come. In the corner of my eye, there was Jimin, trying to get Jungkook off me.

Taehyung and Yoongi trying to grab his neck to back him off and before I knew, I was thrown against a tree.

When I opened my eyes, there was blood around me. Was it mine?
