We drive back home, Bill's hand on my thigh. Enjoying the comfort.
"Dad, Daddy, can I stay with you guys?" Ben asks.
"Okay, fine." Bill says. Bill and I have been trying our hardest to get Ben to break out of his shell but, it doesn't work. We pull into the driveway, Eddie runs outside.
"Is he okay?" Eddie questions.
"Yeah, he has asthma. Just as bad as yours." Bill explains. Eddie takes Ben's hand and squats down.
"Ben, Uncle Eddie has an inhaler just like you. Do you want me to teach you?" Eddie asks.
Ben shakes his head and they head inside. Bill comes over and hugs me. Ashlynn and Adalynn walks outside.
"Bill, Stan, Adalynn wants to tell you something." Ashlynn says.
"Ben is really handsome. Can he be my boyfriend?" Adalynn says.
*10 years later*
"Bill, Stan, Dad, Daddy can we tell you something?" Adalynn says.
"Sure. What's up guys?" All 4 of us ask.
"Ben and I are dating. We have been for 3 months." Adalynn whispers. Richie and Eddie brings both of them into Adalynn's room. Bill kisses me slowly.
"It's almost as awkward as when we told my parents that we were dating." Bill says. I nod my head yes.
