You and Daniel have been dating for a while now but you haven't seen him in a couple of months as he has been on tour so you decide to go and surprise him as you got some time off work.
Your POV-
Tonight I am flying out to New York to go and see Daniel and the boys at their show tomorrow. It is currently 5pm and I'm just about to head to the airport as my flight is a 7pm. The only person that knows that I'm coming is Jonah as i got him to help me organise it.
Time skip to airport
Once i arrived at the airport I went through security and found my gate. I soon boarded and got in my seat, there was no one next to me which was lucky. It was a 5 hour flight from LA to New York so i would get there around 3am New York time.
Skip flight ( sorry for the time skips but I'm lazy)
I landed, collected my bags and then made my way out the airport to get a taxi to my hotel for the night. Once i arrived at the hotel i flopped down on the bed and immediately fell asleep. When i woke up it was around 8am so i got ready for the day and headed to the venue the boys were playing as the plan was for me to surprise them after their sound check. I texted Jonah to say i was on my way to the venue around 9 so i would be there by half past. He text back to say that was perfect they finished sound check at 10 ( I don't actually know if this is correct I'm just making it up ).
Once i arrived at the venue I went round the back to where the boys tour bus would be and went through the security. I made it to the tour bus and was let on so that I could wait for Daniel and the boys to come back. A little while later I received a text.
Jonah- we are on out way to the bus now so be ready 😁
After about a minute i heard the door to the bus open and the boys talking, i was behind the door at the back so they had no idea i was there but then i opened the door and said " how was sound check".
Daniel turned round to see where the voice came from and when he saw me he ran up to me and picked me up and swung me round.
" omg what are you doing here?" He questioned
"I came to surprise you!" I replied with the biggest grin on my face
Daniel then just kissed me and hugged me tighter. Once we pulled away he whisper " i love you so much baby" in my ear and i said i love you back. I said hi to all the boys and we hung out the rest of the day before the concert.
Daniel insisted that i stay backstage during the concert as he didn't want fans attacking me and asking me questions so i agreed to make him happy. During the concert the boys talk to the fans and say inspiring things. During this time i was standing at the side of the stage when I heard Daniel start to talk about me.
"So i wanted to bring a special someone on stage as I haven't seen them in a little while and they came all the way out here from LA to surprise me, so i want to introduce my beautiful girlfriend y/n" Daniel said and ushered me to walk on stage.
I walked on the stage and all the fans were screaming and cheering which was really sweet. I stood next to Daniel and he put his arm around my waist.
"Now you might wonder why i have done this but there is a good reason and that is to show you that when you try hard enough you can do whatever you want. Me and y/n don't get to see each other much while I'm on tour so we have to put in the effort to make it work because that's what we want and it payed off because now we have been together for almost a year and are still going strong so take this as a good example of being able to achieve what you want with the right amount of effort." Daniel said. This really made me smile and reminded me of how sweet Daniel is which is why you love him.
After the concert i'm hanging out with the boys. There is still one more surprise that Daniel doesn't know about so I am going to tell him.
I turn to Daniel and say "i still have one more surprise for you guess what it is"
" I don't know just tell me" Daniel replied
" well i got the next two weeks off work so I'm going to be joining you on tour till i have to go back" i said with such excitement in my voice.
Daniel's face held a shocked expression as he tried to speak he eventually came out with " wow I'm so happy I don't even know what to say".
Over the next few weeks we enjoyed out time together before i sadly had to go back to work.
