Hey guys i will be putting out a part about Daniel's birthday tomorrow it might not be great as it is going to be kind of rushed but just know that i am doing one also please read the authors note at the end 😊
Today consist of one of my worst nightmares, in history we are getting given our big projects that we have a whole month to work on them. Normally this wouldn't be so bad for everyone else but i really hate talking to everyone and for this i actually have to work with someone instead of by myself.
I got up after laying awake in my bed all night and put on some light blue high waited jeans and a black crop top with a while and black checkered flannel and some white trainers. I brushed my hair but left it in its natural waves before I put on some makeup seeing as I hadn't slept all night. The makeup i did was only simple just some concealer, mascara and lip gloss. I ate breakfast and grabbed by backpack before getting in my car and driving to school.
My first class was math and then i went to history, i sat in the back like i always do hoping that no one will notice me. The teacher started pairing people up and eventually she got to me and of course she had to put me with the popular guy daniel seavey. Not only is he the popular guy but i have maybe had a crush on him for the entire year which makes this whole situation worse.
Daniel walked over and sat in the empty seat next to me and smiled showing his adorable tooth gap which made me smile too. I think he could tell that i was uncomfortable with the situation as instead of making me talk he wrote down ideas for our project and got me to choose one which was sweet of him, i chose the topic of world war 1. After we picked the idea i began to feel a bit more comfortable around daniel so i started to talk a bit more than I normally would with everyone else.
You: should we do some research on the war and like how it started?
Daniel: yeah sure let me go grab my laptop
You: oh no its fine we can use mine
I grabbed my laptop from my bag and we spent the rest of the lesson writing down information on a scrap piece of paper so we could look back at it. Before i knew the lesson was over and I was back to being the quiet girl with no friends. I was about to leave the class and go to my locker when daniel tapped me on the shoulder.
Daniel: do you wan to com to mine later to work on the project
You: yeah sure
Daniel: cool I'll meet you here after school if that's ok
You: thats fine
With that he left and i walked out behind him to get on with the rest of the day. I sat in the rest of my classes thinking about going to Daniel's and how excited i was even though i don't normally like to be around people he was fun and made me feel comfortable.
Skip to the end of the day:
I left my last class which was English and walked straight to history to meet daniel and when i got there he was already waiting for me with some of his friends. Luckily as soon as daniel saw me coming over he left them and they all walked away. I don't like some of Daniel's friends as they bully me for being so quiet which makes me want to talk even less.
Me and daniel walked outside and he bought me over to his car and we both got in and put our bags in the back seat. I just left my car in the parking lot as i thought i would come and get it later. While we were in the car daniel put on some music which i quietly sang along too because i love music and use it as my way of escaping. Daniel started singing with me so I thought I would sing a little bit louder and i have to be honest that me and daniel sounded good singing together.
