I just wanted to quickly say a happy 21st birthday to daniel even though he will never read this i felt like i should say it regardless, i hope you all enjoy this part.
Tomorrow is my boyfriend Daniel's birthday we are in a long distance relationship as i live in Florida and he is in LA. He thinks that i won't be able to make it for his birthday but i have booked a flight to LA to surprise him. I'm currently on my way to the airport where my flight is due to board in about 1 hour and a half.
I finally arrived at the airport and checked in my bags and went through security before i waited at my gate for my flight to board. While i waited daniel tried to call me so I answered but tried to be careful not to give away that i was at the airport.
Daniel: hey babe how are you?
You: I'm good baby how are you doing? Are you excited for your birthday tomorrow?
Daniel: yeah i am but its not going to be the same without you
You: i know I'm sorry I couldn't be there i just could not get the time off work, speaking of work i have a conference soon so i need to go sorry
Daniel: its ok babe i will talk to you tomorrow yeah
You: of course
I ended the call and sighed with relief that i managed to get away with that and not make daniel suspicious. My flight was finally called to board so i went and sat in my seat. When the flight took off i fell asleep not long after and only woke up just before my flight landed.
I got off the flight and collected my bags before going to a hotel i booked which is right next to the airport where i am going to stay until the morning when i will get an Uber to Daniel's place to surprise him.
Skip to the morning
I just woke up and its around 7:30 am and I'm planning to head to Daniel's place so that i could make him breakfast as a way of starting the day. I got in my Uber and quickly arrived at Daniel's place which he shared with his brother Christian who would be the one to let me in so daniel has no idea.
When i arrived i walked up to the door and texted Christian so i wouldn't alert Daniel by knocking. It only took about a minute for Christian to open the door and he pulled me into a hug and i hugged him back. We talked for a little while just catching up because it has been a while since i have been to LA. After we got all caught up me and Christian both worked together to make daniel breakfast. We made him french toast with some berries in a bowl with some apple juice because it is his favourite. I put all of it on a trey and walked it upstairs to Daniel's room and knocked before i opened the door and smiled at daniel who was sleepily looking towards me but he didn't recognise what is going n but when he did he jumped up and hugged me. I put the trey of food down and then daniel hugged me properly and kissed me passionately.
Daniel: omg baby how are you here
You: i may have lied but i did manage to get time off work and i wanted to surprise you
Daniel: and that is why i love you so much
I gave him his breakfast and then we sat together in his bed and ate together. All daniel wanted to do was cuddle me but i told him we had to get up and that we could cuddle later.
Daniel's POV
I was in bed sleeping in because its my birthday but my girlfriend isn't going to be able to make it so i wanted to spent less time without her. I woke up to someone knocking on the door so i sat up and it opened to someone holding a trey with food on it. When my eyes finally focused i saw that the person at the door was y/n.
I leap out the bed and hugged her so tightly, she put the trey down and then i hugged her again before kissing her. I was so happy that she was actually going to be here and i get to spend my birthday with her.
We got into my bed and ate the breakfast together. I spent the entire time cuddling her before she convinced me that we needed to get out of bed.
Your POV
We got up and i got dressed while daniel took a shower. I put on a two piece set with some shorts and a cropped top with tie sleeves and a tie around the waist. I put my hair in a high ponytail and did some simple makeup with some mascara and concealer to cover up my dark circles.
After daniel got ready we went back downstairs where his brothers and I gave him his presents. I gave daniel my presents and he opened them. I got him a really nice leather belt which i knew he would love and he did love it. His brother and i also may have all coordinated to get him a puppy which he loved so much.
Daniel: thank you so much i love you guys so much
You: aww its ok dani we knew how much you have been wanting a dog so we got you a little friend
Daniel: oh baby i. For got to say the boys organised a party for later
You: thats sounds wonderful
Daniel doesn't know that i helped plan the party and have another surprise planned for later as well.
We spent the rest of the day chilling and playing with Kobe (the dogs name) which was really nice because me and daniel haven't had a chill day together in a long time as we have both been so busy.
When it got to later in the afternoon we got ready for the party. I showered and changed into my dress that i bought with me. It was a black body con dress that had a swooping neck line as well as a shoelace pattern at each side on the leg. I tried to do the zip up myself but I couldn't do it so i went into Daniel's room to get him to do it. When i did he couldn't even say anything which i assumes meant that he thought i looked good. Daniel did do up the zip and then kissed my cheek.
We left for the party which was at Jonah, Corbyn and Eben's house. We drove to their house where they had setup balloon and other decoration wand it looked just how I thought it would. They boys said happy birthday to daniel and i gave them a nod to say that i had everything i needed to ready.
We head a good time at the party and we bought out the cake for Daniel and that is when i would show him the surprise. Everyone sung happy birthday and that is when i took over. I had written daniel a song which i was now going to sing as Daniel's real present. I started to sing the song while looking right into Daniel's eyes.
Daniel's POV
Everyone was singing happy birthday and after they finished i saw y/n had a mic and began singing a song that was beautiful. I had never heard it before but i instantly loved it. She was staring right into my eyes for the entire song which made her seem even more angelic. She finished the song and i ran up to her and gave her a kiss.
Daniel: thats was so beautiful who sings that son give never heard it before
You: me, i wrote it for you while i missed you
Daniel: thats so sweet it is amazing
Your POV
I'm so glad daniel loved the song because I was really nervous he would hate it. People started to leave the party so i helped the boys clean up before me and daniel headed back home. We both got changed and I put on one of Daniel's hoodies and some leggings. We both then got into bed and daniel pulled me close so that my head was resting on his chest. That is the position we eventually fell asleep in after watching some shows on Netflix.
