I woke up and the room was still pitch black so I guessed that it was still the middle of the night. All of the sudden I felt extremely hot and started sweating, I reached over to my bed side table to check the time. It was 3:00 am but I was burning up way to much to go back to bed so I decided to get up quietly as not to wake my boyfriend from his slumber.
I walked down the stairs and to the kitchen to grab the thermometer to take my temperature and grab a glass of water to see if that would help at all. The thermometer soon beeped and showed a fever of 37.8 degrees Celsius. I groaned knowing that this meant I was getting ill before giving in and taking some paracetamol to take care of my fever and went back to bed hoping I could sleep it off.
Time skip to 6:00 am
I woke up again after barely getting anymore sleep. I was still sweating like crazy and to add to that i felt extremely nauseous, and before you think I'm pregnant there is no way so I know that I'm just ill.
I laid in bed for about 15 minutes trying to recover but soon I had the sudden urge to throw up. So I quickly ran to the bathroom down the hallway before reaching the toilet and throwing up. Soon I heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom.
As the footsteps got closer I saw my boyfriend daniel come around the door and kneel down next to me and rub my back which made me feel better. I began to throw up again and daniel grabbed my hair to get it out my face while whispering in my ear.
Daniel: its ok baby, I got you
You: ugh I hate being sick
Daniel: I know sweetheart but i promise I will take care of you
You: thank you babe but I don't want to make you sick
Daniel: I really don't care because its my job as your loving boyfriend to take care of you no matter what
We sat on the bathroom floor for a few more minutes before Daniel picked me up and carried me back to our bed before leaving again.
He soon came back with water and more medicine which I gladly took. Daniel also got into bed next to me and pulled me close to him and held me tight.
Daniel: is that the first time you have thrown up?
You: yeah but I had a fever last night and couldn't sleep
Daniel: why didn't you wake me up I would gladly cuddle you to help you sleep
You: you looked so peaceful and I didn't want to disturb you
Daniel rolled his eyes at me jokingly before playing with my hair to help me get to sleep.
Just as I was about to fall asleep I felt sick again so I pushed Daniel off me and ran to the bathroom with Daniel falling close behind me. After I threw up daniel sat with his back leaning against the bathtub before pulling me on top of his lap where I soon cuddled into his chest feeling a lot better than before.
Time skip a few hours
I have been in bed cuddled up to Daniel all day and I even took a nap which made me feel so much better. It was bout 1 now so Daniel was getting hungry and I could tell as his stomach was making nosies but he clearly didn't want to leave me.
You: you can go and eat if your hungry I will be alright
Daniel: are you sure you don't want anything
You: actually can I have some soup
Daniel: of course darling I will be back soon
After about 10 minutes daniel came back with two bowls of soup which I smiled at knowing daniel wanted to come and eat with me to make sure that i was ok.
I ate the soup slowly and it actually tasted pretty good and I managed to keep it down which was good. After we ate Daniel grabbed his laptop and turned on Netflix.
Daniel: what do you wan to watch
You: can we watch Brooklyn 99
Daniel: of course
Daniel's POV
I was watching Brooklyn 99 with y/n when my phone vibrated and lit up indicating I had a text. I ignored it at first just wanting to spend time with y/n and take care of her because she is ill, but it got to the point where I couldn't ignore it so I checked my phone to see a lot of messages from my group chat with the boys.
Corbyn: hey Daniel do you want to come out with us later
Jonah: Daniel you there?
Zach: DANIEL
Zach: DANIEL PAY ATTENTION
Daniel: I'm here guys, but I can't come out with you sorry
Jack: whats up
Daniel: y/n is sick and I want to take care of her
Zach: aww tell her we hope she gets better soon
Corbyn: yeah and make sure you give her lots of affection because she will like that
Daniel: I will guys don't worry but I will talk to you later
I turned to y/n before kissing her forehead
Y/n: what are you doing?
Daniel: giving you the love you deserve
Y/n: aww your making me blush you're just too cute
Daniel: no you're cuter
Daniel: oh by the way I love you
Y/n: I love you too
