I woke up this morning with very little motivation for the day but i knew we were being given a project in my music class. I got dressed and put on some black jeans and and a white t-shirt which i tied up and put a denim jacket over as well as some converse. I went downstairs and made some toast which i ate while getting all my homework and books in my backpack before heading out to walk to school. While walking i watched some TikToks and listened to some music which made the walk go quicker.
When i made it to school i found my friends and we talked about our weekends before we had to go to class. First i had maths where we did some algebraic fractions which wasn't too bad but i still don't like maths. next i had music which was actually one of my favourite classes but I wasn't looking forward to the project because we were being put into groups.
I went into the class and sat in my seat which was at the back in the corner and waited for the teacher to start the class. The class soon began and the teacher began by putting us all in pairs for the project, he paired up most people until there was only 6 of us left he called my name followed by the guy in my class that is an amazing singer and can play tons of instruments daniel seavey. I got up and sat next to him and he smiled at me, i was really happy that we got to do this project together because daniel Is so good at music. We started by coming up with some ideas and working out how we could get our voices to work together.
Daniel: do you mind singing part of a song and i will do the same so we can see if our voices fit together well
You: yeah thats fine
I decided to sing supermarket flowers by ed Sheeran, i started to sing it kind of quietly so I didn't deserve all the other people in the class and then daniel joined in and we sang the rest of the song together and i thought it actually sounded pretty good.
Daniel: wow your voice is amazing
You: thank you so is yours
Daniel: thanks, that actually sounded so good this is going to be fun
You: yeah i know
We spent the rest of the lesson coming up with ideas and then starting to write some lyrics. We decided to write the song about our ex's that have hurt us so that the song would seem like it has true emotion behind it. We decided to meet in the library after school for the next few days until the song was written.
The rest of the day went by quite quickly and after my last lesson i went straight to the library and found somewhere to sit in the back so we could work together. It didn't take long for daniel to arrive and we worked on the song until half of it was done. Me and daniel have been getting on really well which surprised me but it was nice and i think I'm starting to get feelings for daniel but I'm probably just being stupid.
Two days later
Over the last two days me and daniel have been working on the lyrics of our song and we finally finished them and i was really happy with them i thought they sounded great. Daniel got me to sing the parts that i would be singing to help him create some chords for the background music of the song so thats what i did. As i sung the words he started writing some things down which i assumed would be helpful when recording the song, i stopped and daniel showed me what he wrote down.
Daniel: i thought it would work well with some violin in the background was well as maybe some piano and i think that will work with how you sung it
You: that sounds great, i can play piano by the way if you need me to do that
Daniel: thats cool you can definitely play for the recording speaking of it do you want to come to my place to record the song because i have some equipment at my house
