My eyes fluttered open to reveal the sun bursting through the curtains in my bedroom. I turned to face where my boyfriend would normally be laying but he wasn't there. I started to panic wondering what happened to him but my frenzy was quickly stopped when daniel walked in with some french toast and orange juice.
Daniel: good morning love happy birthday
You: aww thank you
He put the tray down on the bed and got back in next to me. He turned his arm around me and we ate breakfast sat together in bed watching tv. After we were finished eating we got up and got ready as daniel told me to put on a casual outfit as we were going somewhere. I showered and washed my hair before getting out and getting dressed. I put on some black shorts which had a tie around the waist which i tied in a bow with a white bodysuit with a low cut neck line and some white trainers. I dried my hair and left it how it naturally is i also didn't put on any makeup because i didn't wear it on a daily basis.
I went back downstairs and daniel had a bag of stuff with him i went over to him and he grabbed my hand before we then left the house and got in the car to go somewhere but I wasn't sure where we were going.
Daniel's POV
I am taking y/n out to the beach today because i asked the boys to decorate our house for a surprise party that i had planned for y/n. The plan is that we are going to be out just long enough for them to set up and then we are going to head back and surprise y/n before the party starts so the both of us can get changed. I also have another surprise planned I'm going to give her something really special and I'm going to give a small speech at the party to say how much i really appreciate her.
Y/n just wanted a quiet birthday with just us two and maybe some family so i decided to only invite close friends of our to the party or small get together i guess you could call it. I also planned for us to go to dinner with her parents tomorrow so she can see them. But for now we are going to the beach because it is our favourite place to go together when it is warm as we go surfing or swimming together.
Your POV
We were in the car for about 10 minutes when daniel pulled up at the beach. It was such a nice day outside so I'm glad daniel planned for us to go to the beach because we haven't been in a while and it is somewhere where it will be just us which is what i wanted for my birthday. We always go to the beach when it is a nice day it is our favourite thing to do.
Daniel got out the car and then came round to open my door for me, he then took my had as we walked onto the beach and set up our towels. Me and daniel went to the bathrooms and got changed. Daniel had bought my favourite one piece, it was black and had a cut out under my chest and a bow over my boobs.
Me and daniel went into the water and swam around for a while just having fun and relaxing until daniel tried to splash me.

Daniel: you wanna bet
We began splashing each other trying to get the other one to surrender which wasn't going to happen since we were both so stubborn and competitive at times but eventually the both of you gave up and called it a draw until next time at least. Daniel then picked me up and spun me around before throwing me in the water. To get him back i swam towards him and grabbed his ankles to pull him under water where his eyes met mine and he kissed me lightly on the cheek. We got out of the water and sat back on our towels to dry off and tan for a while.
Back at the house (3rd person)
The boys had just arrived at daniel and y/n's house with a bunch of balloons and other decorations. Zach and jack began to blow up all the balloons while Corbyn and Jonah put up banners and other decorations. They all put lights around the place and put balloons around them. All of them then left to go an pick up the cake daniel had ordered, the cake was a vanilla cake with white icing on the outside but drips of pink icing coming from the top as well as some pink icing roses on the top. The boys picked up the cake and bought it back to the house where they put it in the kitchen before leaving to go back to their houses before the surprise later.
