I woke up to my alarm going off and wondering why I had set it the night before but then I remembered that today I'm meeting Daniel's family for the first time. As soon as the thought came to mind I instantly started feeling anxious and my heart rate feels like it I had just ran a marathon.
I got ready and I wanted to be myself but not too casual so that I wouldn't come across as a slob. After spending 20 minutes deciding I finally picked out a white top and a beige skirt with some beige heels as it was casual but not too casual.

I then brushed my hair and left it natural and I left my face with no make up as I don't like to wear it very often.
I walked downstairs to make breakfast it was now 9:30 and Daniel was picking me up at 10. I walked to the kitchen and got some yogurt from the fridge then some strawberries, blueberries, an apple and some raspberries. I went to get the cutting board and then chopped up the fruit and put the yogurt in a bowl with the fruit on top. After putting the fruit away I grabbed a spoon and my bowl and went to the living room. I sat on the sofa and ate my breakfast. My mind is still running thoughts at a million miles an hour, like what if Daniel's family don't like me and then he breaks up with me or what if they think I'm trying too hard. Ugh. I need to stop it will go fine right? To stop my self overthinking I went back tot he kitchen to wash up my bowl and any other dishes I had. Doing this took my mind of things.
The next thing I knew it was 9:55 and I needed to get my bag ready and put my shoes on before Daniel got here.

Knock on door
I ran to the door and opened it to reveal a smiling Daniel.
" hey babe you look beautiful, are you ready to go?" Daniel asked
"Yeah let me just lock the door" I replied
I locked to door to my house and got in the passenger seat of Daniel's car. I again started to let myself get in my head again and I really started to worry. I started sweating and my hands started shaking. I was brought out of my thoughts when Daniel started talking.
"Are you nervous y/n because your shaking" Daniel asked
"Oh um yeah kind of I just want them to like me" i replied quietly
"Don't worry y/n babe they will love you I just know it, when ever I mention you they always ask when they can meet you" Daniel told me
"Really, you talk about me with your family" i asked
"Of course and they love to hear about you so don't worry"
15 minutes later
Daniel pulled up to his parents house and we got your out of the car together. He took hold of my hand as we walked towards the door to reassure me. He knocked on the door which was soon answered by his mum Keri who had Jeff, Anna, Christian and Tyler behind her. She hugged Daniel and then turned to me.
You- it's wonderful to meet you too. She brought me into a hug which made me feel more confident.
Jeff- hey y/n I'm Jeff.
You- nice to meet you Jeff. He hugged me too.
I talked to and hugged Daniel's siblings before we went inside and to the living room. We all sat down together and I was sat between Daniel and Keri. We all talked until Daniel's family started to ask me questions about me.
Christian - so y/n what do you do for a living?
You- I work as a model and actress. (Pretend that's what you do)
Christian- that's really cool.
Tyler- what are some of your passions other than acting and stuff?
You- well I like to sing but I love to cook and bake it's one of my favourite things to do.
Keri- what's your favourite thing to make?
You- I love to make meringues and I love to make homemade pizza from scratch.
Keri- that's lovely I have never been good at making meringues you will have to teach me sometime.
You- yeah that would be fun.
We continue to talk and get to know one another then Keri went to prepare lunch and Daniel wen to help.
Daniel's POV
I went to help my mum make lunch in the kitchen.
"Y/n is lovely just how you described her. She is such a beautiful girl and so kind hearted. She is really a keeper" my mum told me
" I knew you'd love her. Believe me I know she's a keeper and I intended to stay with her for the rest of my life"
It was good to know that my family loved y/n. I knew they would but it's nice to watch them get along and find things they have in common. We stayed for a little while longer but soon me and y/n left so we could spend the evening together at her house.
" see I told you the would love you. Did you have fun?" I asked y/n
" yeah it was great I love all your family there so sweet" y/n replied
We went home and spent the rest of our evening together just cuddling in the sofa.
