I'm on my way to my boyfriends house right now as we are meant to be going on a date so I'm all dressed up with my makeup done. He hasn't answered my texts or calls all day so i hope he's ok and that we are still on for tonight. When I arrived there was another car in his drive but i just assumed it was one of his family members as i don't know some of them too well so i walked up to the door and knocked, i got no answer and the door was open so i just walked in and what was in front of me was shocking. My "boyfriend" was on the sofa with another girl making love. I broke down in an instant which caught their attention and the stopped what they were doing and turned to face me.
You: how could you
Y/ex's/n: baby I'm sorry i didn't mean for this to happen it was a mistake i just ...
You: I'm going to stop you there, this was no mistake, its over
I walked back out and got back in my car to go back home with my eyes brimming with tears making it slightly harder to see. Luckily i got back safe and just cried while laying on the floor of my entry way. I needed to talk to someone so i decided to call my best friend daniel. I knew he would help me.
You: h-hey dani
Daniel: y/n are you alright? Are you crying?
You: my b-boyfriend cheated on me
Daniel: i will be right over
You: ok see you soon
Daniel's POV
Y/n called me saying her boyfriend cheated on her and she sounded so hurt so even though u had the guys round i knew i had to go and comfort her. I told the guys what was going on and they understood that i needed to go so we all left. Before i went yo y/s i went to the store to get some of her favourite snacks and some movies for us to watch to take her mind off things. When i got the the checkouts the cashier was interested in what i was buying.
Cashier: having a movie night with some friends are we
Daniel: yeah kind of my friend just got cheated on so I'm going to keep her company
Cashier: that is very sweet of you its nice that your the one she wants to be there for her
Daniel: we have been friends for long time so that's probably why
Cashier: i have a feeling you will become more than friends soon
I thought it was weird that the cashier would tell me that me and y/n would date but i guess there is always a chance and i have lied her for a while but i don't want to get my hopes up. When i arrived at y/n's she was sat on the floor of her entry way crying so I helped her up and gave her a hug.
Your POV
I stayed where i was and continued crying he whole time i waited for daniel. When he finally arrived he just opened the door as he knew I wouldn't have locked it. He came straight over to me and pulled me into a hug while pulling me up from my position on the floor. He gently pulled me over to the sofa and gave me a bag full of stuff. I opened it and he had brought all my favourite foods and even some of my favourite movies to watch together. I gave him a hug and thanked him.
You: thank you so much dani you know you didn't have to do this
Daniel: well i wanted to, why don't you get into comfy clothes and we can watch a movie
I walked up stairs and put on some grey sweatpants and with a black sports bra as i knew daniel wouldn't care he would just want me to be comfortable. I grabbed some blankets and pillows from my room. When i got back downstairs daniel had set up the movie and some snacks. I flopped on the sofa next to him and he put his arm over me and we both got under a blanket. We finished the first movie and i was getting kind of cold so i pulled the blanket right up to my neck.
