I am 20 weeks pregnant today so my boyfriend wanted to take me out to celebrate being halfway through and being just 20 weeks away from meeting our baby girl.
I woke up this morning to a kicking feeling coming from inside my stomach. This is how i have been woke up most mornings for the past few weeks. I rolled over slowly to try and reach for my phone. Doing this i woke up daniel because the bed was moving. He groaned because he wasn't ready to wake up. I finally managed to grab my phone and it told me that the time was 6:24. I rolled back over because i wanted to sleep for a bit longer. Daniel put his arm around my waist even though it barely went half way over my bump because it was so huge and i went back to sleep again.
When i woke up for a second time i decided that i should probably get up but it is quite a task because my bump gets in the way. I tried a few times before i sighed and just laid flat on my back which you aren't meant to do but i didn't care at that point.
Daniel: you ok there sweetheart
You: yeah i just can't get up
Daniel: haha let me help you then
Daniel got out of bed and walked to my side of the bed. He grabbed my ands and pulled me up and brought me into a hug. We stayed in the hug for a while with daniel swaying us from side to side. He kissed me quickly before we both went down stairs to have breakfast. I went to make breakfast.
Daniel: no you go and sit down i can make breakfast
You: I'm fine don't worry
Daniel: i wan to do it because i want to make the day about you
You: well i won't say no to that
Skip a few hours
Me and dani have just been watching our favourite shows and movies all day before we go out tonight. We finished watching an episode of Brooklyn 99 and i decided it would be a good idea for me to take a shower so that i was all greasy for when we go get dinner tonight.
I showered and washed my hair and after i went to go pick and outfit to wear. I tried on many dresses and skirts but i just looked fat in all of them. It began to make me cry because i just felt so insecure about my body. I sat on the bed and cried for a while when i heard a knock on the door. I knew it was daniel so i wiped my tears just before he opened the door. He looked at me and i could see sadness for in his eyes too as soon as he saw me.
Daniel: sweetheart why have you been crying
You: i just look so bad in everything i just look fat
Daniel's facial expression immediately changed to one of shock. He walked closer to me and sat on the bed next to me. He stared into my eyes for a while before he said anything else.
Daniel: you don't look fat at all sweetheart, your 20 weeks pregnant and you have a giant baby bump and that's ok. Don't be insecure you look amazing and i like you with your bump because it shows how amazing you are to be growing a tiny human in you.
You: thank you dani but i still don't know what to wear later that will make me look good
Daniel: well can i choose an outfit for you
You: yeah go ahead
Daniel picked put a super cute grey dress that had a slight slit at the side.
Skip to being at the restaurant
Me and daniel just arrived at the restaurant he was taking me to. We were seated at our table and ordered our meals. While we waited we talked about the boys and their plans for the future as well as our own plans.
You: so do you guys plan to go on tour again next year
Daniel: we thought we might take the year off touring to write and album and so that i can spend time with you and the baby once she's here. So what are our plans for once the baby gets here
You: well i don't know that is probably going to be something we need to discuss at some point
Our food soon arrived and we mostly ate in silence making small talk between mouthfuls.
Time skip to after dinner
Me and daniel went on a small walk after dinner because it was really nice weather outside. We were walking around a park when some fans came over to ask for some pictures.
Fans: daniel can we take a picture please
Daniel: of course
I took the phone from the girls to take the picture
Fans: y/n can you be in the picture too
You: yeah if you want me to
I went and stood next to daniel and he put his arm around my waist and he took the picture because he has the longest arms. We talked to the fans for a while before they had to go.
Fans: thank you for taking pictures with us
You & daniel: its no problem
Fans: you look amazing in that dress by the way y/n
You: aww thank you
The fans left and me and daniel walked back to the car because my felt were beginning to hurt. We made it back to the car and i took my shoes off because they were really hurting me.
Time skip to being back at home
For the rest of the evening me and Daniel chilled on the sofa and then went to bed. I fell asleep while cuddling with daniel after what had been a great day.
