I recently watched the Brit awards so this is inspired by that but a little different 🙂
I was hanging out with my boyfriend daniel and his friends a few weeks ago when their manager called and told them they are going to an award show. They were nominated for the best band award a few months ago and now they get to go the the actual award show. The boys manager told them that they can bring a few people with them as plus ones of sorts.
Jonah: who should we bring with us
Zach: y/n you should come I'm sure dani would like that
You: i mean i would love to go if all of you are ok with it
Boys: yeah sounds great
Daniel: I'm so excited for this
You: me too
I'm so happy that the boys are going to let me come with them to their first award show it is going to be a great experience.
A weeks later
There is now two weeks until the award show and today we are all going to get fitted for our outfits for the event. We all went to this tailors where they had a bunch of options of suits and dresses. The boys all tried on their suits and got measured so that they would fit right. Daniel looked so good in his suit like I couldn't stop staring at him.
Next it was my turn to try on some dresses for the red carpet and for the actual ceremony. I tried on quite a few for the red carpet before i tried on a light pink off the shoulder dress. It had a slit that went up to mid thigh. The top half was form fitting and the bottom half was very flowing. I walked out so that the tailor could check how well it fits. I looked towards daniel and his jaw was dropped.
Daniel: omg you look amazing baby
You: thanks dani
I then tried on a black dress that wasn't quite as flowing as the other dress and it was more fitted. It had long cape sleeves and a very deep v neckline. The dress was beautiful, i felt like it really suited me.
We left the tailors and went to some other shops to get accessories and shoes to wear at the event.
Skip to the day of the award show
My alarm went off this morning at around 9:30 am. I slowly opened my eyes to see daniel already awake.
You: morning babe are you excited for today
Daniel: morning love, I'm actually slightly nervous but still excited what about you
You: yeah i guess I'm nervous too i just hope no one hates us
Daniel: don't worry about that there is no reason for anyone to hate us
We both got up and then got ready for the day because we had to pick up our outfits and meet with the boys manager to go over some last minute things. I put on some leggings and a grey crop top with a flannel shirt over the top.
We left the house and met the boys at the tailors where they gave us our outfits and then we headed to the meeting at the boys studio. When we arrived John told us things we aren't allowed to mention in interviews and who we should accept interviews with. He also told me and daniel that we should stick together at all times because it is safer and it would be a good look.
We all went back to mine and Daniel's house because there was space for us all to get ready and it was closest to the venue. When we arrived we all ate some lunch and watched a movie. After the movie ended it was time for us all to get ready.
