Having a baby

I'm writing this because for some reason I have been really wanting a baby recently even though I'm only 16 and don't have a boyfriend

Today is the day, finally after waiting 20 weeks me and my fiancé Daniel get to find out the gender of our baby. It was the best day of our lives when we found out that we would be having a baby, some would say that we are too young but we think we are ready to go inti the next chapter of our lives. We still haven't told Daniels fans that we are expecting because we wanted to enjoy the pregnancy ourselves for as long as we could but later today we are going to announce it as well as tell everyone the gender.

The appointment wasn't until later in the morning but I woke up super early mainly because I was excited but also because I get quite uncomfortable sleeping in the Same position for too long. I got up to get ready but I left Daniel asleep seeing as there was no reason for him to get up just yet. I put on a really cute long skirt and a navy blue striped top which I tied up above the bump. I put some of my hair into two little ponytails and left the rest of it down, I also put some makeup on making sure it was waterproof incase I cried because you never know with pregnancy emotions.

When I was fully ready I went back into the bedroom and Daniel was awake now and getting ready too. He was half dressed but he came over and pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek, he does this every morning and its the sweetest thing.

We ate breakfast and just chilled on the sofa until we had to head to the appointment. When we got there we didn't have to wait long before we were called in by the lady that I have seen for all of my ultrasounds so far, at this point she is just as invested in this pregnancy as me and Daniel are. She got me pull down by skirt to expose my bump and she put the cold gel on my skin and moved the wand around to look at the baby. Both me and Daniel just started at the screen that shows image mesmerised thinking about the fact that that was our baby that we would meet soon. When the lady was finished she wiped the gel off my stomach and gave is the pictures from the ultrasound before siting down to tell us the gender. She asked us what we thought it would be too.

You: I think its a boy

Daniel: yeah I really think its a boy too, everyone tells us that she's carrying low so its a boy

Nurse: well its a girl

You: oh my, thats amazing

Daniel: wow thats such a surprise but so exciting at the same time

We thanked the lady before leaving to head back home, for a little while we didn't say anything just kind of in shock that we were having a girl. Both of us thought that we were having a boy, it just seemed like my pregnancy was typical of what all the old wives tales say. Eventually I broke the silence.

You: well that was definitely a shock

Daniel: yeah, I cant wait to see the look on ever ones faces when we tell them it's a girl

You: there going to be just as surprised as we were

Daniel: except Corbyn he has been adamant the whole time that its a girl

You: thats true, he's definitely going to say I told you so to both of us

When we got home I called my parents and Daniel called his telling them to come over in an hour and then we text the boys on the group chat that we all have together telling them to come too.
