I finally had a break from my busy schedule so I decided to check my phone to look through and text people back. I went on my Instagram and saw that I had been added To a random group chat with a bunch of guys I didn't know. They were also talking about things that made no sense to me so I assumed they had just added me by mistake.
Group chat-
You: um I think you guys added the wrong person because I have no idea what you're talking about
Corbyn: oh yeah sorry about that, Daniel you added the wrong person
Zach: great job Daniel well done
Daniel: I'm so sorry about that
You: its all good I'll just leave and you guys can add the right person
Jonah: no don't bother leaving you're cool you can stay
Jack: yeah stay it'll be fun
I decided to stay in the group chat as they seemed nice. They filled me in on what they were talking about so I understood and we talked for a while until I had to get back to work. I checked my phone again later in the day and caught up on all the messages when I noticed that Daniel dm'ed me separately.
Daniel: hey I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to put you in that situation
You: don't worry about about it its fine I'm glad you did you guys seem cool
I talked back and forth with Daniel for ages and we really got to know each other quite well. He was really nice and I could tell that we were going friends if we kept talking which I really hoped we do.
Skip 7 months (i know thats a long time go with it)
Me and Daniel have talked non stop for 7 months now, we FaceTime almost daily but if we don't do that we will always text each other. Finally after all this time I'm going to fly to LA to meet him and I couldn't be more excited.
My flight is leaving the airport at 6:00 am so I need to be there at 4 which is why I got up at 3:25. I was so tired but excited at the same time, I got ready by packing some last minute things like tooth paste and my hair brush and getting dressed in my outfit which was just some white sweatpants and a black and white crop top.
After I was ready I got in the Uber that I ordered which took me to the airport. When I got there I checked in and went through security before going to my gate to chill before I had to get on the plane. While I waited I texted Daniel because he told me to keep him updated on what was happening so he knew I was safe. After I texted him he replied almost straight away saying how excited he was to finally meet me and get to give me a hug. He is literally the sweetest person ever I'm so glad that we 'met'.
I got so carried away talking to Daniel that I didn't realise how much time had passed until my flight was called to board, I text Daniel to let him know I was getting on the plane. I got on the place seat which luckily was on the aisle next to an elderly couple.
For most of the flight I had been listening to music and watching to shows I had downloaded but for the last half and hour I thought I would try and take a nap but the elderly lady next to me wanted to start a conversation.
Lady: sorry to disturb you dear but I have just been wondering why you are going to Los Angeles are you a model or an actress?
You: no need to be sorry, actually I'm neither I'm going to meet someone I have been talking to for a while now I'm person for the first time
