At that moment, I started walking and caught the eye of Brenda, the girl. I just waved, so they realized it was me. And I immediately received an enthusiastic wave in response. "Hello!" I greeted them in my best English. Before I could say more, I was welcomed with even more hellos and even a hug from Brenda and Sophia. Somebody pulled enthusiastically, and before I knew it, we were seated at a table in the Starbucks.

"So," Sophia said. "Would you like to tell us more about yourself?" She hesitated for a moment, seemed a bit insecure, but continued. "Then we will all introduce ourselves." "I... I don't know what. Uhm. I have to say." I stammered. "We'll come up with some questions, and then you just answer," Brenda answered.

For the next fifteen minutes, I sat there, answering their questions. Then they all started to introduce themselves. That's how I got to know a few things. Joshua turned out to be a typical guy. Love skateboarding and video games. Brenda, however, was an exception to the average girl. From Benjamin and Sophia, I learned again that they had a busy life and were only home during the weekend. That was something I liked at first sight. It gave you a soothing feeling of not having parents around you all the time. You could usually do what you wanted. "So we are here!" Joshua's cheerful voice said.

The car drove up a driveway from a cute little house. The house didn't seem significant but not small, either. It was enough. The house was utterly white and somehow exuded coziness. I waited for Joshua and Brenda to get out so that I could do the same. I was in the middle back. It had been a beautiful drive home. I was interrogated continuously, and Joshua made a joke out of everything. Most of the time, they didn't care, so Brenda and I were laughing at him half the time. Fortunately, he could handle that.

"So, what do you think about it?" Benjamin asked. "Doesn't it stand out?" Brenda interrupted him as she chuckled. At that moment, I realized that I was staring at the house with my mouth open. It looked nice. I followed the rest to the front door, and everything inside seemed great. I wasn't shown around yet. "You will discover with time," Sophia said.

Brenda dragged me into my room. She stopped suddenly in front of the door that I flew into her. I immediately began to apologize, but Brenda kept looking at me strangely. "What is it?" I asked. I still didn't understand her gaze on her face. "Were you talking to me in Dutch? Because I didn't get it." The only thing I could get out was sorry. I put my hand to my head and smiled apologetically. "It's nothing." Brenda pushed the room door open, and I looked around curiously again. I immediately loved the place. Everything was light in color. The entire room is centered around the double bed. A desk stood against the right wall; on the left was a large batch of windows. They were sliding windows that gave access to a small balcony. The wall facing the bed had a small door in the center, along with two cabinets. The door was probably the bathroom. A private bathroom. Wow. I had everything here.

Brenda left me alone when it was eight o'clock. So, I still had time to unpack everything before going to sleep. I didn't eat anymore. I already rejected that offer, and I did everything at ease. There was no rush. I changed. I threw my musty airplane clothes into something that looked like a laundry basket, and I did comfortable jogging with pull on. It was pretty cold in the evening. In the small bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Then, I padded down. I already felt at home.

I found Joshua and Brenda in the living room. Brenda's busy with her cellphone, Joshua is entirely captivated by his Xbox. It was a funny sight of how they were sitting there. Both their mouths hanging open. I chuckled loudly, and they both looked up. Joshua immediately looked back at the TV screen because, oh, if he loses a game. Game freak, I thought. Brenda knocked friendly on the pouf past her. I shuffled to the pouf and sat cross-legged on it. I started talking to Brenda, and Joshua got involved in the conversation.

It was getting late, and I was pretty tired. I could already feel the jet lag like that. "I'm going to sleep," I said, suppressing a yawn. "I'm going to do that too; Austin comes tomorrow, and he is always early." I looked questioningly at Joshua. "A friend?" I asked curiously. Joshua nodded. "And not just a friend," Brenda said with a strange look in her eyes. What could be so special about him? "Post Malone, do you know him?" Brenda continued. "Of course. That kid who raps and sings so well?" I said, uninterested. Of course, I knew him. He became known for his song "White Iverson" He raps and sings quite well, but I didn't have to scream or anything for that. "So that's my friend Austin," Joshua said, looking at me. "Yes, and my mother is the Queen of England." I joked. "I'm going to sleep. See you tomorrow!" I walked up the stairs, and I could almost swear I heard Joshua's voice. "You see, she doesn't believe it. Hope she doesn't get an attack tomorrow." No idea what that meant, but I'll find out tomorrow.

Now the only thing I could think of was sleep.
