The desire had now taken over my whole body, and I had to make a lot of effort to restrain myself. "Madison, show them their place to sleep." My mother pulled me out of my dream world, for which I was anything but grateful. Was it that necessary? "Okay," I murmured, making a vague hand gesture that everyone should follow me. I walked to the hall. Brenda walked past me, and she looked at me with a grin on her face. Joshua and Kaci walked behind us, and Austin roamed behind them. "What?" Brenda's stare started to get on my nerves. "Nothing." She grinned and shook her head. "You are cute." She said then. I felt my head go completely red, and I stared at the floor, which almost made me run into the door. I climbed the steep stairs and ended up in my room. I wouldn't know where they would otherwise sleep. Good thing my room was that big.
I already saw four made-up mattresses lying on the floor. My mother clearly knew about this plan. I still had time to thank her later. I sat down on my bed and watched the others. "So, choose." Everyone chose their place and installed themselves. At first, Kaci lay by my bedside, but Brenda changed who necessarily thought Austin should be there. While the rest settled in, I lay down on my bed. I still hadn't recovered from the surprise. I think I'd never been so happy with anything. Suddenly, the noises stopped, and I heard Joshua whisper a little too loudly to Austin. "Go get her." I heard everyone leave, and I was almost sure that only Austin was still here. It was weird, but I didn't dare to open my eyes. Because what if he wasn't here now?
I was still deciding whether to open my eyes when suddenly a hand brushed my cheek, and I felt a pair of silky lips on mine. His lips pressed against mine, but I couldn't blame him. I missed him so much, even though it was just three days ago. He pulled me right up so that I was now half on his lap, and I turned so that I was sitting correctly. My hands wobbled through his loose little curls, and I felt his hands on my lower back. His tongue touched my lips, and this time, I did not hesitate to open my mouth a little.
A great feeling seemed to set me on fire, but I didn't care. The world could now perish; I wouldn't even mind. So we sat there for ten minutes before Austin took his lips off mine and gave a little kiss to the tip of my nose. I felt an incredible amount of love for him, and I was utterly absorbed in our kiss. I felt my cheeks involuntarily color, and I stared dreamily into his blue eyes. I seemed to be drowning in the blue sea of his eyes. "I love you." Even though he had said that it made my heart beat faster. "I love you too," I said, placing my head on his chest. What a sweetheart it was. "Shall we go down?" Austin tried to sound happy, but he couldn't hide that he didn't want to go down. "Of course." I grinned.
I jumped up from his lap and pulled him out of the room with his hand. It was dark in the hallway, and I quickly pushed the light switch before I was on the floor again. With Austin's hand still in mine, I went down the stairs. I stopped in front of the kitchen door, pulled my hand away, and quickly kissed Austin. My mother had not yet been informed about it. That would only lead to embarrassing moments. We walked through the kitchen, and I sniffed the smell of spaghetti. My mother was busy with her cooking pots, so I walked quickly to the living room, where the rest lay on the couch. They were all watching television like zombies.
Jet lag strikes again.
