The sun rays that shone full through the window woke me up that morning. Immediately I thought of the previous night. If Madison were here too, why did my bed feel so empty? I felt beside me, and the only thing I felt was my mattress. I quickly opened my eyes, and I was half-blinded by the bright sun. Where was Madison? I had only half-raised my head, or I already knew the answer. Madison was standing still in front of the bed, dressing quietly. She was wearing skinny jeans, but I hardly paid attention to them. Her bra only covered the upper part of her body with her bra. My eyes now seemed to be stuck to her body like magnets.

I threw the blankets away from me as quietly as possible and crawled over the bed to her. When I came to her, she just took my gray sweater off the ground and pulled it over her head. She threw her hair back over her shoulders, and her scent stunned me. At that moment, she turned and looked at me with wide eyes. "Austin! You scared me." She sighed when she saw that it was just me. "Sorry, baby." She came closer and pulled me off the bed. Her face came closer, and she put her arms around my neck. "Never do that again," she said so quietly, I barely heard it. Still, her voice shivered through me.

Her face was happy and cheerful as she rubbed my cheek with her hand. Her eyes sparkled especially. Her brown locks got a special golden luster tr- "Austin I- ow." Lyam stood in the doorway with an astonished look, yet something triumphant. Madison immediately let go of me and stood beside me with a redhead. Her eyes were on her feet. "I thought I'd come to wake you up. But that is no longer necessary." He just laughed at his joke before continuing. "Are you coming to eat?" I nodded quickly and hoped he would soon disappear from my room, but he kept staring at me for a moment before he turned around. He walked away without saying anything, but I could swear I heard him say it. "You see now; you like her, Austin."

"And how was it with your family in the Netherlands, Madison?" Lyam looked interested at Madison, who was eating at her leisure. I was poking in my omelet. I wasn't hungry anymore. Lyam had ruined my whole mood. "Good." Mumbled Madison before she consumed a new bite of her omelet. Another silence fell, and I caught myself repeatedly staring at Madison all the time. I wasn't the only one who noticed. "Austin, just stop staring!" said Lyam. I looked up with a redhead and heard Madison softly chuckle. "You've got it." Okay, were we going to start like this? "Lyam, stop!" He seemed to take my mood down. "What? I only speak the truth." I looked at Madison, who quietly ate.

I saw her cheeks turn red, and it felt good somewhere that confirmed this fact. I was in love, but that didn't mean everyone had to know. "When are you going on a date?" I could hit myself on the forehead. I shrugged and put a bite of the omelet in my mouth so that I could not answer a possible new question. The omelet wasn't dirty, but somehow I didn't like it. It was probably because I wasn't hungry.

I put down my cutlery and returned to Madison. She also seemed to be ready. "I'm done. Are you coming?" I did not wait for her answer and had already walked back to the hall. The silent footsteps behind me were clear from Madison, but I didn't turn around. That would make Lyam complain even more. Only when I got to the stairs did I turn around. Madison bumped into me, and I caught her. Her eyes were suddenly a little gloomy, and I felt something was up. "What is it?" "I have to go home," she said, but I didn't believe it. I could tell from her eyes that she was lying. There was something she didn't want to say. I nodded quietly, not dragging her out of her.

I put my arms around her and kissed her with passion. She kissed back, but not with conviction. Whatever it was, it was big. Her lips stopped kissing me, and she went through my hair one last time before she pulled away. "Bye." "Bye," I said, looking after her. Even after she closed the door, I kept staring, lost in thought. I couldn't stand her feeling bad. It broke me inside. What made everything worse was that she didn't want to say it. She seemed to think I didn't want to know. It felt like a struggle was being fought within me that my body renounced.

It broke me.
