"Hold it, hold it, hold it," Nigel, the photographer, yelled at me. I twisted my body in some weird pose and he absolutely loved it. "Alright, Raya beautiful that's the last frame. You did amazing."

"Thank you Nigel," I smiled sweetly walking off the set. I'm no model, but I'm definitely use to being behind the camera. I'm pretty popular on Instagram and I have various businesses who have me as sponsors and ambassadors of their brands, not to mention I'm Danny Williams wife. If you had any sense, you would know of the many hits my husband has produced within the years from some of people's favorite artists. He's a beast with this music stuff and so far he's had the game on lock. Rappers, rnb singers, even some pop artists want to work with my man and he's down for it all because he's always about his paper.

Today I was modeling a lingere line for a girl named Dawn. She's grown pretty popular with her intimate apparel so I didn't hesitate to accept her offer. She has some of the cutest stuff and I love the fact I get to keep everything I model as a gift.

"Thank you so much hun. You always come through," Dawn hugged me after I changed back into my regular clothes. "I already have the money wired to your account so you can check it now or whenever."

"Don't worry about that," I waved her off. "I've always done business with you and never had to worry about you being unprofessional. If that's all you need for me, I guess I'll be heading out." We said our goodbyes and I walked over to my 2020 candy red BMW M4, that I just treated myself to about three weeks ago. I loved my new baby and already had an appointment set to get the windows tinted next week. It was going on 2:00 PM so I knew I needed to get moving if I was going to make it on time to pick the twins up from school.

"Siri call Husband," I commanded waiting for my phone to register what I said. Once it did, within 5 rings Danny finally picked up.

"What's up baby," he asked.

"I'm heading out to pick up the twins now, I just wanted to see were you already at the new house?"

"Yeah, I'm up here now. The movers are already setting up the furniture in our bedroom. You made sure you packed up everything?"

"I'm positive Danny," I reassured while rolling my eyes. "I checked three times around the house. It's nothing there."

"Good looking out babe. Well, I'll leave you to it then. I gotta finish doing what I'm doing. See you later aite," he said. I agreed and we hung up. Today was the day we moved into our new home in the Tarzana neighborhood. We decided this house would be our forever place since we moved at least three times in the last six years we've been together. To be honest, I still don't know why we've been all over LA like this because there was nothing wrong with our other places. In reality, I felt like we just did stuff because we could.

I'm 26 years old and Danny is 28, I've been knowing him since I was 17, but we didn't start dating until I was 20. We got married a little after I turned 21 and I conceived our twins, Danielle and Ryan, that same age. I was introduced to Danny by my mother. My father is a big time lawyer down here in LA and at the time he was helping Danny's father with some legal business. When my mom found out that he had a son she quickly jumped on the opportunity of making sure are paths crossed. In a way, I guess you could say our relationship was arranged from the moment we met. Danny's parents loved me and my parents loved him so it made sense for us to be together. I never really had a chance to date or explore my options or anything like that because I married so young. Danny wasn't my first, but he was my second, so everything I shared with him was basically brand new. I didn't know anything about being wife other than what my mom taught me and what her definition of a "good wife" was. She believed in always letting the men lead and take care of the big things while we "women" took care of the small things. It's really a fucked up to way think, but it was all I knew. I never was taught independence as a young woman. All I ever understood was looking pretty and allowing my husband to bring in the bread. Hell, when I was staying with my parents I never worked for anything nor did my mom. We did things like go to charity events and dressed up nicely for my father's business parties while he made the real money. Anything I ever I wanted I got without having to lay a finger.  I'm a little different now, I make my income by social media. I also finally learned about investments and increasing income from myself so I'm not as helpless as I was. My mother doesn't understand why I chose to make and spend my own money for the life of her, but that's something I don't think she'll ever understand until she has a big attitude adjustment.

"Hello Mrs. Williams good to see you again," Ms. Newberry, my twins teacher, greeted me sweetly.

"Same to you, they do okay today?"

"Oh yes. Danielle won the spelling bee we had in class ," she said brightly causing a big smile to plaster on my face as well. My babies came running up to me trying to outrun each other.

"Mama! Mama! I won the spelling bee," Danielle yelled excitedly. "Look at my prize!" She showed me a certificate and a tiara that was pink with little rhinestones on it.

"Ooh that's so pretty. Good job baby," I congratulated.

"Yeah well I got a sticker on my math test," Ryan pouted. He and Danielle were always bickering, but one thing's for sure they loved each other dearly.

"Really Ry? You are such a big boy," I gave him a kiss causing them to fuss all over again.

"I see you have your hands full," Ms. Newberry laughed. "Have a great weekend and I'll see you all Monday." The twins waved at their teacher and rushed away to the car.

"Mama are we about to see the house now," Danielle whined when I pulled off the lot.

"We're not just seeing it, we're moving in it today."

"Yaaayyyy," they both screamed jumping up and down in the seats causing me to laugh.

"Daddy said it's a real big pool too Dani," Ryan said.

"I'm going to have a pool party for my birthday," she announced smiling.

"You mean our  birthday," he corrected her.

"Oh yeah I forgot, we're having a pool party." I laughed again because my kids were definitely something else, but they keep me own my toes and for them I just wanted to be the best I can be. I want my babies to be proud of me as a woman. I use to look up to my mother, but as I grew older I realized she wasn't a role model.. sad truth. She hadn't accomplished anything but being privileged and spoiled. That wasn't me and I didn't want to be her.
