We just landed in the beautiful state of Florida! I'm so happy the time has finally come for me to enjoy myself and enjoy Christopher in peace. The only hard part about leaving LA was leaving my children. For whatever reason, Danny has been kind of distant towards me, which is why I know at this point he is full blown cheating. I can't help to feel some type of way about it though. I usually know when he's cheating, since he always pathetically tries to make himself seem not as suspicious. It's different now though, it's like he wouldn't care about the risk of me finding out about this particular affair. The vibe between the both of us have been off. We rarely have had sex with one another and neither of us are making it a big deal. When he saw me off this morning, he seem relieved to see me go to be honest. This constant cycle of infidelity between the both of us now is placing such a strain in our marriage. It's such a terrible feeling all around.
"I got all the bags Raya. You ready to go? You got everything you need," Chris asked me. Looking in his eyes always makes me feel at ease. They make me never regret anything. "I'm ready," I told him. He grabbed my hand then we followed behind Naomi and August. There was a driver and rental already awaiting on us. The men placed the bags in the trunk while Naomi and I climbed in the back row.
"I can't wait to pull all these bad ass outfits out. I've been shopping for this for so long," Naomi said excitedly. She showed me a picture of a dress she had saved in her phone. "This is going to be my official birthday dress."
"That is sexxyyy! Girl, August is going to eat you alive when he sees you in that," I told her admiring the picture. I was excited to bring out my outfits too. Your girl loved dressing hoes under tables. It was my specialty.
"Damn y'all didn't want to sit with y'all niggas," August asked once climbing inside. "And yeah I said what I said. Chris and Raya go together, no one else knows about it though," August continued having everyone in the truck laughing. I covered my eyes, blushing as he teased us.
"Oh my God August, you get on my nerves," I shouted hitting him on his back.
"Y'all mad at me for manifesting for y'all? Whewww, the ungratefulness!"
"Don't worry about her bro, she's mine she just don't want to admit it yet," Chris winked at me making me blush again.
"I heard that brother. Okuurrr," Naomi co-signed. For the rest of the trip, we all joked around. The mood was special because we all were just happy to be with one another in sharing the moment.
Once we arrived to the penthouse we were staying at for the week, both Naomi and I's mouths dropped. The space was absolutely beautiful with breath taking views from every angle.There was also an indoor pool that stretched from the dining room to its own separate area.
