CHAPTER FIFTY SIX

I had Anita Baker blasting throughout the house this fine Saturday morning. I couldn't feel any better. Got some bomb ass dick last night and this morning so a bitch was walking on sunshine. Literally. I sang along and danced as I cleaned up the living room. It wasn't too messy, but from last night I did need to straighten up a tad. I also invited Naomi, August, Asia, and Tremaine over for brunch, I didn't need it to be looking like a mess of covers and snacks down here.
"Sweet loveeee! Hear me calling out your name, I feel no shame, I'm in love," Chris came out of nowhere singing loudly with his arms wrapped around me from behind. We began to sway back and forth singing together.
"Sweet loveeee, don't you ever go away. It'll always be this way."
"Sing it to me baby," Chris grabbed my hand as we glided across the room, two stepping like some old timers. Danielle and Royalty were the first set of children downstairs. They rushed over to us to dance along as well. Chris picked up Royalty and I grabbed Danielle's hands spinning us around the room. Joy bounced around the house amongst all of us. If this is what love really felt like, I don't want to come down from this high ever.
Eventually Chris and I ended up in each other arms once again. I couldn't contain the smile on my face nor could he. Yearning for Your Love by the Gap Band played next. Yeah, we were jamming but the mood couldn't be more perfect.
"I can wake up to this every day dude," his tone was so warm.
"Me too. I hope you understand how happy you really make me. I always say it, but I just can't stop thanking God for you."
"You say that like I'm not the lucky one." We stared in each other's eyes. It was another form of intimacy that felt so good to the soul.
"I'm really in love with you Raya Simone. I'm in love with everything about you," he whispered.
"I love you too Chris so much."
"I love you more."
"I love you more."
He then kissed me oh so sweetly, nearly knocking the feeling out my legs. They felt like jelly. I'm so love drunk it's ridiculous.
"Ewwwww," Ryan and Aj squealed from the stairs. They were finally up and already being little cockblocks.
"Aww shut up. This will be y'all one day," Chris waved them off. He still had an arm wrapped around my waist.
"Girls have cooties," Ej ran around us.
"No they don't," Royalty yelled placing a hand on her hip.
"Do too," Ryan co-signed.
"Take it back Ry," Danielle placed her little hands in fists.
"Nope! Cootie girls. Ej don't let them get too close," Ryan teased. Before we know it the girls were chasing the boys around.
"Are we going to deal with that," Chris asked with an eyebrow raise.
"Hell nah," I chuckled. "Come here big head." I grabbed his face so we could kiss again in peace although hell was for sure breaking loose around us. This is what mattered right now.

"I can't wait until your stomach starts growing," Asia exclaimed as she rubbed Naomi's small tummy in slow circles. I leaned against Chris. I feel like I could never be close enough to him. If we're being honest, if I could get inside of his skin I probably would've been in there by now. Anyways, the gang was all here. Asia brought her children along as well as Trey and his son. The kids had even more children to play with now so in their little minds the more the merrier. We had just finished a very tasty brunch that resulted into us all feeling sluggish afterwards.
"I just hope my nose doesn't spread that wide. It's enough I'm going to be fat but I'm so excited," Naomi smiled.
"Not you finally having a change of heart," I teased. "Last time I see her dramatic ass y'all Naomi just swore it was the end of the world."
"That was the old me."
"Yeah cause big Daddy Aug had to get her in line real quick," August spoke up. "I let her have her lul moment, but after that I made sho she got right." Naomi rolled her eyes not necessarily denying what he was saying. I just knew he was her soulmate because there wasn't too many that could check Naomi. She has always been a feisty one, but that never seems to phase August one bit. I love that for her.
"It would be really, REALLY nice if one of my friends got pregnant with me. We could have our children around the same time you know?"
"Count me the fuck out. I served my time. I got just enough,"Asia shook her head so quickly her mimosa spilled over her legs.
"Man Trey how do you feel about all that? I know you want some more," Naomi instigated. All eyes were on Trey who now had a sly smirk on his face. The smile on his face put a frown on Asia's. She was not in the business of having anymore children anytime soon. She let me know that when she had her last baby.
"I meaaaan, I'm not opposing having anymore. I do nut in her every chance I get sooo," he shrugged. We laughed teasing Asia who still look like she would faint.
"Make that happen for me my boy," Naomi dapped up Trey then she turned her attention to Chris and I. "I could possibly let it slide if I could get this one right here to have another one," she pointed at me tauntingly. I covered my eyes from all of them because ... NO... at least not now.
"I just knew you were going to make your way around here. We good," I spoke up for us both. Chris caressed my left arm brushing it lightly with his fingertips.
"Raya stop the bullshit. You said you wanted 10 kids. Ms. I want a Brady brunch family," Asia called me out trying to mimic me. I flipped her off. Like girl shut up.
"I ain't said no shit like that Asia Jones. Shut up hoe," I yelled.
"Damn Brady brunch? I thought a couple more would be cool but you jumped to a whole new level," Chris shouted. I just shook my head laughing. "Naw but seriously however many kids you want I would give you exactly what you want however you want it," he stared down at me. I bit my lip. Mmm mmmm, his fine ass.
"Oh Lord here we go," August said throwing his hands up. "Do we need to leave already?"
"For what? It's a whole house behind us. Like we won't excuse ourselves and handle our business," Chris replied.
"We next then shiddd what you saying," Tremaine picked up Asia so she could sit in his lap. "I'd eat this chocolate anytime of the day. Fuck a cavity," he smacked the side of her thighs hard. She squealed telling him to stop as she blushed.
"Whew Chile it's too many freaks in this here place for me honey," Naomi waved her hand as her eyes grew big.
"Girl if you don't shut your very much pregnant ass the hell up," Chris yelled over Asia and Trey's loudness. They were still horse playing with one another.
"You know what muthafucka. Fuck you!" Naomi yelled laughing. She couldn't deny that one. "Fuck all y'all got dammit!" Everyone started shouting all types of shit at the same time. If these folks couldn't do anything else they could talk shit for days. I was laughing so hard my sides were hurting. A group of characters man. Every single last one of them.
