ELISE'S POV
Pareho kaming napatakbo sa pinagmulan ng sigaw hanggang sa nakarating kami sa dormitory, tinabihan ko si Lia sa sahig, "Anong nangyari?"
"I-I found her inside the bathroom, she excused herself to pee, but when she hasn't come back, I went to check her, that's when I had discovered her, facedown on the bathroom floor, a puddle of her own blood soaking into the white tiled floor."
Nanginig ang buong katawan niya, at ang tanging nagawa nalang namin ni Jeanne ay yakapin siya. Thank god Flare wasn't dead, she still have a pulse. The medical team had gotten to her in time, and by the time Mrs. Perez came running up the stairs, Flare has her head lolling against Fenrir's shoulder.
Hinatid namin si Flare sa medical wing ng Cross Institute habang buhat siya ni Fenrir, nung naipatong na siya sa higaan, pinabalik na kaming lahat sa dorm at hayaan muna si Flare magpahinga.
"I'm just glad she's not dead, Oh god, " Lia and Jeanne squeezed me into a tight hug, Zion, Khal and Fenrir follows before I shut the door behind me, I lay awake in my bed, still in my dress, Carter's coat loosely wrapped around me, longing into the night, I tucked it onto me, feeling a little bit of comfort.
Napalingon ako sa kama ni Flare at nakaramdam ako ng lungkot. Nang may biglang pumasok sa isip ko, tumayo ako agad at dumeretso sa kwarto ni Lia at Jeanne. When I was about to knock, the door swung open revealing Jeanne. She was shocked for a moment, and I think she might have been screamed before she realize it was just me, and a surge of relief swept through her.
"Elise! You scared me, I thought.. O-oh god," she stuttered as she gave me a quick hug before tugging me towards my room. "Pupuntahan sana kita," she said as she swung my door open, she closed it as we get inside. "Yes, me too."
"Hindi ako makatulog. Kanina ko pa iniisip yung nangyari kay Flare, the intruder is inside the school, there's a neolutionist here! That's my first theory, but it doesn't make sense I know, we are all hiddens here. And hiddens will never work for neolution but, it might be possible, right?... " she trailed before inhaling deeply, "Ugh. I don't know. "
naupo siya sa kama at minasahe ang sentido ng ulo niya. Napaisip naman ako sa sinabi niya. With Jia's case, she sneaked out and it's beyond Cross Institute's safe zone. Pero si Flare na nasa loob ng banyo ng school? That doesn't make sense.
Lumapit siya sa kurtina nang bintana ng kwarto, she pulled it open. "I think someone is watching us from the shadows within ravenwoods," tinuro niya ang madilim na parte ng ravenwoods kung saan may limit ang safety zone. Hindi namin kung gaano kalaki at kalawak ang ravenwoods.
"I'll go ahead and check," walang pag alinlangang tumayo si Jeanne at mabilis ko siyang hinila paupo ng kama.
"Nababaliw kana ba Jeanne? Going beyond the safety zone is forbidden. Bukod sa mapapahamak tayo sa rules ng school, hindi natin alam kung anong meron dyan. Paano kung may mga mababangis na hayop? What if it's possible they have infiltrated our school within the restricted part of ravenwoods? You're only making it easier for them. Baka hindi ka makabalik ng ligtas," sunod-sunod na nasabi ko sa kanya at hindi ko na napigilan. What she's planning to do is gonna get herself in trouble, worst case scenario it's gonna get her killed.
"Let just listem to them not to come out of our dorms for now and let the adults handle this matter. Huwag na tayong dumagdag sa suliranin nila Jeanne," kulang nalang magmakaawa ako dahil mukhang hindi magbabago ang isip niya.
"You don't understand Elise, we can't just sit here and do nothing. If we all just sit here and wait, naghihintay lang tayo na isa-isa tayong mapahamak. They're not giving us any details about what's happening. Hindi mo ba naiintidihan? We almost lose Flare too. I lost my parents because of neolution. And I can't let it happen again to anyone of us. If I can do something to protect everyone, even just a little bit of help, I'd do it. That's how far I'll go just to protect the people I love," nang tignan niya ako ng diretso ay ako ang hindi makatingin sa kanya.
