Natapos na rin si Madame Al na ipaliwanag ang buong sistema ng Hidden Society at City of Falias. Ang sumunod naman ay ang sistema ng Cross Institute.

"Kilalanin niyo ang Power Elites," At may lumabas na listahan ng mga pangalan from 1 to 20. At nakita ko nga sa listahan ang pangalan ni Carter Frost na nasa unahan.

Pinindot niya ang pangalan ni Carter Frost at lumabas ang litrato niya dito. "First on the list, Carter Frost – hydrokinetic, subtype ice manipulation;
The user can create, shape and manipulate water, inorganic compound with liquid, gas (steam, water vapor), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to other."

Lumapit si Khal sa tenga ko at may binulong, pero rinig iyon ni Fenrir at Jeanne.

"Yun yung naging advantage niya, hindi lahat ng water dijinn nagkakasubtype ng ice, bihira lang yun sa isang generation,madalas aquatic lang sila, water control lang ang kayang gawin, unlike Frost na ice ang subtype, at siya lang ang nandidito sa Cross na ganun ang subtype na ice, well maliban sa ate niya na graduate na." Tumango naman si Fenrir at Jeanne sa sinabi niya.

Nagswipe naman si Madame Al sa screen at lumabas ang litrato ni Elle. "Rank two, Elizabeth Gorey; psychic with the ability of psionic blast. It's the ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind." She explained it further for the newbies in this room, good thing Flare already familiarize me with the different departments.

Si Fenrir naman ang sumunod na nagbigay ng dagdag na impormasyon. "Mahirap din kalaban ang isang 'to, her ability is really fit for self-defense or against any enemies, she can take over your senses, shut them off and give you pain. A different pain you'll encounter."

Tumango ako kay Fenrir, hindi ko alam kung nananakot ba siya o hindi. But already experienced Elle's abilities, first hand thank you very much.

"Third on the List, Lia Athena Martinez, telekinesis. User can influence/manipulate/move objects/matter with their mind. Telekinesis is one of the basis of many abilities that are based on "controlling/manipulating", and may evolve to the point that a Telekinetic can control anything at a subatomic, particle and universal level."

Si Jeanne naman ang sunod na nagsalita habang pinapakita ang litrato ni Lia sa harap. Tumango nalang ako at bumalik siya sa pagbabasa ng libro.

Natapos nang ipakilala ang Power Elites. Si Khal na may telesthesia ay rank 5, si Flare naman na pyrokinetic ay rank 12, si Fenrir na may electric manipulation at Zion na may teleportation ay magkasunod sa rank 16 at 17. They're cousins.

I noticed that the power elites' abilities are fit for the battlefield and that's their advantage. Now six power elites are trying to befriend me, I really don't have any interest to be one of the power elites, I just want to survive. But after discussing the power elites, one look around this room and everyone's looking at us, looking at me. And the pressure is on.

Pagdating ng lunchbreak, kasabay na naming kumain sila Flare at Zion.

Kasalukuyan akong pumipili ng bibilhin na pagkain sa harap ng counter. Pinili ko ang beef steak at canned coke na panulak. Pagkabalik ko sa table namin, si Fenrir na naman ang katabi ko at nagtatawanan na naman sila.

Ano topic? Yung kay Carter Frost na naman. Binigyan ko sila ng poker face at iinom sana sa coke ko pero nung tinungga ko na yung can, wala akong mainom at naramdaman ko na naging doble ang lamig nito kumpara kanina.

Sinilip ko yung loob at nagulat ako kasi nagi-ice na yung coke e normal lang yun kanina. At bigla akong may naisip. Lumingon lingon ako sa paligid at nakita ko na nga siya.
