Pumasok ako sa kwarto ni Flare at naupo sa tabi niya, mabilis akong kumilos at nagkunwaring inaayos ang kumot nito. That's the perfect opportunity to make the needle of his IV got loose. Hindi na ito naka attach sa vein ni Flare pero hindi iyon mapapansin dahil sa makapal na tape. The sedative they're using isn't strong enough to put her to sleep for a few days that's why it's being mantained on a daily basis. Kung mag iinject man ulit ang nurse sa IV ni Flare, tutulo lang ito sa kamay niya.
The next morning, Jeanne arrived before the sun rises, waiting for the nurse to come. We have decided to use her clairsentience ability. Nang dumating ang nurse ni Flare ay nagkunwari akong naglalaro sa cellphone ko habang si Jeanne naman ay nagbabasa ng dala niyang libro. Naka surgical mask ito kaya't hindi ko makilala ang mukha niya. Nang matapos niyang i-inject ang sedative at akmang tatalikod na ito ay mabilis na humawak si Jeanne sa braso nito.
Jeanne is trying to acquire information about the sedative through her touch; Jeanne's clairsentience ability. Something flashes into Jeanne's mind and I can see it in her eyes the way she stared back at the nurse within her grasp.
Kahit naka surgical mask ang babae ay kitang-kita ko ang pagkagulat sa mga mata nito at halatang natatakot at nangangamba rin sa malalaman ni Jeanne. This woman must've known what kind of ability Jeanne have.
The woman panicked and pushed Jeanne so that she can get away from her grip. It did take Jeanne by surprise and unintentionally loosened her grasp, as the woman tried to break free and ran away from the room.
Balak naming habulin ang babae ngunit pinigilan ako ni Jeanne. "Don't leave Flare alone and call the guys, I'll take care of this," mabilis pa sa alas kwatro siyang tumakbo palabas ng kwarto at hinabol ang babae.
Mabilis ko namang tinawagan ang mga kaibigan ko at nang makarating sila ay nagulat akong kasama nila si Carter. "We bumped into each other since we'll be out for a mission anyway, and then when you called, he insisted to join us," Lia explained.
"You okay?" Fenrir and Carter both said in unison and everyone around us exchanged weird glances. Hindi ko pinansin ang tanong nila at nagsimula na akong mag kwento tungkol sa nangyari.
"We suspected it was some kind of a sedative trying to put Flare back to sleep, tinanggal ko ang needle ng IV ni Flare at inaabangan namin ni Jeanne ang nurse, trying to use her ability on her but it looks like she already knows what's up, so she ran away," nang matapos kong ikwento ang nangyari ay saktong pagbalik ni Jeanne sa silid.
"Are you okay?" si Khal ang unang lumapit kay Jeanne at hinawakan ito sa braso. Tumango si Jeanne sa kanya bago tumingin sa aming lahat.
"She got away. She used some sort of a portal, I didn't managed to follow her in time I'm sorry," ani Jeanne.
Umiling si Lia sa kanya at lumapit. "Thank God you're okay. Mabuti na rin iyong hindi mo siya nasundan saan man siya napunta, baka kung ano pang naghihintay sa iyo don,"
"Have you seen anything when you touched her?" Carter asked. Tumango si Jeanne at nagsimulang magkwento.
"I've only seen a guy wearing a volto mask, doing this weird thing of snapping his fingers from behind. Instructing her to give Flare the sedatives. Whoever that is, it looks like he knows he can busted anytime soon and he's prepared not to have his face shown even in our visions. He probably knows what kind of friends Flare have and our abilities," umiling si Jeanne sa kawalan. The way she described the man, it's the same person I've seen in one of my visions too, hiding behind a mask.
"So what do we do now? It's getting dangerous day by day. One thing is for sure, the one who attacked Flare is trying to avoid getting caught. At mukhang natatakot siyang sa pag gising ni Flare ay malalaman ng buong Cross Institute kung sino ito. They will eventually try to harm her again," sumandal si Zion sa pader at bumuntong hininga.
