The Deal (Jenlisa x Chaennie Fanfic)

XXIV - Choose Your Fighter

Lisa, unaware of the thick atmosphere suffocating the conference room, flashed her biggest smile at the tall lady thinking she's a long lost friend of her cousin-in-law.

"I'm Chaeyoung Park, it's a pleasure to finally meet you Vice President Kim." They shook each other's hand firmly with a smile.

"It's a pleasure." Lisa admired the lady's confidence and beauty. She reminded her of her own sexy, confident, little wife. She worried about her time to time even she's too busy to think of anything else. Now, she's more than excited to go home and see her mandu cheeks.

"I know you're expecting to meet my wife, but I assure you you'd be, at some other time. She just needed some rest today." Lisa explained as they take their respective seats.

Jisoo wanted to grab Lisa towards the nearest secluded area and tell her. But she knew it's a dumb move and unprofessional seeing everyone sitting there like normal business people are. She wanted no commotion. So, she decided to just watch both of them carefully.

Chaeyoung Park was really pissed on the inside because she didn't see what she came back in this hellhole for. 

Jennie Kim.

And this is what my Channie heart was aching to write since the beginning of this shit hahaha. Sorry not sorry.

She came back to get Jennie Kim back. Now repeat 5x faster. Lol jk.

And that's it, that's the tea. But she's beyond disappointed that it's her so-called wife she's facing now, not to mention her number one fan Jisoo Kim was in here too. Double whammy.

She prepared hard and years for this shit ass deal as a comeback plan, only to receive a news that the love of her life was now married to the only daughter of their toughest competition. Rich people are undoubtedly smart, she thought while her heart was breaking into pieces.

The sudden marriage of the two major business tycoons and love didn't sound well together for her. She believed everything is just for business. So, with renewed spirit she's now here, fighting for her love using a mf business deal.

"No worries Vice President. No wait could ever be too long if it's her I would see." Chaeyoung smiled genuinely at still clueless Lisa while Jisoo gagged in the background.

Lisa knew how well-respected and admired her wife is, especially in the business industry, so her purity had remained untouched.

The meeting went civil and successful that pissed Jisoo more because of how perfect the proposal was no matter how keen she looked for holes. Of course, your girl Chaeyoung didn't work this hard to be destroyed by a single careless question. While your innocent girl Lisa's soul was fed by how productive and beneficial the deal was, not just for the companies but also for many people who could be helped by it.

And this is the brilliant plan of Chaeyoung Park. She knew the kindhearted Jennie Kim would never turn down this kind of deal. She knew her ex-girlfriend very well and so is the way to her heart. She already smelled victory before entering the company she then worked for years. Bwahaha Chaennie FTW. Oops.

"So, what do you think Director Kim?" Chaeyoung turned to the raging inside Jisoo, testing more of her non-existing patience with a sweet smile.

"It's a promising deal I have no choice but to give my endorsement to the President." Of course, Jisoo knew her cousin too. As much as she wanted to turn it down flatly the moment she saw Chaeyoung's face, she knew tomorrow Jennie would know of this deal of a lifetime. Jisoo have no choice but to remain rational.

"I'm sure Ms. Park she'll be thrilled, I'll tell her about this right away when I got home."  Giddy Lisa commented earning a mental face-palm from Jisoo.

Chaeyoung then turned to Lisa, split seconds of indifference flashed and she became the sweetest human being alive. Jisoo saw it all.

"Thank you Vice President Kim, and please tell her I said hi." Chaeyoung smiled but with eyes sending flying daggers towards Lisa as to why the hell does she have to rub on her face that they are married and living under the same roof when all of it was just for a freaking business deal they're parents set them up to.

"Sure, I will." Lisa still unaffected, flashed her most charming smile, shaking Chaeyoung's hand firmly.

She doesn't care whatever the hell Lisa was trying to be towards everyone. She knew how Manobans play. And that's one of her aces against her. AcEs.

What's really triggering her was the way Lisa acts as if she knew Jennie all her life when it was just weeks after the freaking marriage proceeded. And she's on leave? What in the hell did she tell Jennie to convince her to take a rest. Rest is not in Jennie Kim's vocabulary. 

Things didn't add up the way she conceive it but  nothing could stop her from getting what she wanted the most. Now, more than ever.
