"Why didn't you take it?" Jennie still flushed from the almost kissing scene turned to her nervous wife.

"Ah- no. No. Nothing important."

"Did your battery die?"

"A y-yeah." Lisa threw another lie at her wife. She intentionally turned the damn phone off out of panic, and frustration, who could have blame her it was her dream-What? No she just imagined it one-whoa there.

A lot of things happened inside the capsule but they haven't owned the peak of the Ferris wheel yet.

Until then, awkward silence surrounded the couple. Their own thoughts are louder than the shrieks outside the compartment. No one knows what to do next. No one wanted to apologize for they both knew they're not responsible for the unsaid attraction. Saying sorry's would only acknowledge it. And they're both not ready for that until chapter 202.

Finally, their capsule stopped at the wheel's peak, allowing them to take in the whole metropolis. The busy life was peace from the place they're viewing it with the night's cool breeze blowing their skin. They both subconsciously rested their eyes at their tower because it soared higher than everything else.

"Your tower is no joke!" Lisa gushed out of nowhere.

That tower supplies electrical power for the whole country. No joke.

Jennie just smiled. As much as she wanted to insist that they own it, she doesn't want to repeat that intimate scene again and return to awkwardness again in case fate won't approve of it again.

"Dad took me here once and pointed that tower, and told me no man can ever build such magnificent thing on his own."

Lisa wanted to turn her face towards Jennie, but she refrained midway because she might not control herself at the proximity of Jennie's lips anymore.

"It would take a lot of manpower." Lisa just added, continuing her admiration for the tower.

"And a strong, united will." Jennie continued, it's weird but Lisa could hear her smiling as she said it.

Lisa then faced Jennie, and bitch, their eyes met again. Thankfully, their faces are not as dangerously near each other's now. Lisa could see admiration in Jennie's eyes for her noble father. She imagined how this admiration was built and destroyed but faithfully remained in this little child's eyes. So, saying it is now forever deleted on her database.

"You may get overwhelmed by the pressure Lisa, but remember you are not on your own. You are not alone."  Jennie genuinely smiled at Lisa.

This friendly gesture depleted every amount of awkwardness in the air and they stayed there together side by side in a comfortable silence until the ride is over.

Jennie reached for her heels but long limbed Lisa grabbed it first.

"Let me carry you. It's my fault you're wearing high heels in a theme park." Lisa like a knight in shining armor showed her back at the blushing Jennie who's tucking an invisible stray hair behind her ear.

And so they made their way to Jennie's car, with Jennie's face buried on Lisa's nape hiding her flushed cheeks. People of course knew them, but it some kind of an unspoken fact that the power couple is untouchable. They just admired their sweetness from afar, thinking fairy tales do come true.

But of course, Jennie would still be the driver.

------------------

The Vice President was so excited not to lunch with the Director. No. She meant, she's excited to lunch out only with the President. It feels like a date.

'A date.'

Another date! She felt giddy and energetic with the thought. Well, since the day before, though she should have been tired from all the shoutings she did. Because why not? She and her wife were already friends.

Remember her everything called last night, right? But fortunately, he never called again. Lisa wasn't supposed to be relieved, but she was. She doesn't want to think about it now, so we should not too.

Her date, I mean her wife, was already at the restaurant no matter how swift and early Lisa thought she herself had been.

Jennie was sitting there, shining with elegance as always, brows furrowing at the innocent menu. Lisa doesn't know if it's the President aura her wife was carrying or she's just simply, drop. dead. gorgeous. as a friend.

Lisa walked towards the still unaware of her presence, wife, but as if some psychic shit had urged Jennie to lift her face up, her eyes immediately met Lisa's longing gaze.

And then their smiles lighted up the already bright-lit room, also thanks to the chandeliers. Too natural smiles, they didn't even thought of doing it. It just happened.

"You look beautiful." Lisa confidently whispered against her wife's ear, but she doesn't know whether she'll kiss her or what.

Jennie, evidently blushing hard as fuck from the compliment, covered it up by kissing Lisa's cheek and the latter was too frozen to even sit making Jennie pull the chair for her. That's when Lisa remembered chairs are for sitting.

Lisa was just biting her lips repressing her big smile thinking if she'd let it slip, it could possibly rip her face.

Jennie, on the other hand, acted like a normal adult and asked her wife what they'll eat when they felt like someone was blocking the light.

"Bambam..."

Lisa was shookt when she recognized it was her everything

Shookest when her everything kissed her lips in front of her wife.
