Jisoo, the queen of contingency plans was dumbfounded at the freaking outcome of their hardwork. So let's end her P.O.V. here.

The news of the divorce would only be disclosed for public after it was granted. And so they were all keeping it strictly, no matter how devastating it is, inside their circle. And the circle included Chaeyoung Park. But even if she's not, she would definitely know it. Guess who's the source.

With the oxytocin level of someone winning a lottery, Chaeyoung did her best in keeping it down around the mourning, again, Jennie Kim. Because the author is a heartless motherf-oh.

She wanted to come clean and fight fair. A first. Just to get Jennie Kim as pure as she could. She doesn't know pure, but it's Jennie, she'll do everything to deserve her, remember chapter 36?

Let's just all pretend we remembered.

And so the legalities were served. The conditions of the deal were followed. Jennie insisted to give the Maleficent project to Lisa, which would be very beneficial to the latter having a stable resource to start with.

But politely rejected. Lisa knew how devoted Jisoo worked for that project so there's no way she would take it.

And because she wanted to part ways with the Kims for good.

-----

Lined up at their lobby, their people were bidding their last farewells to Lisa who's there to gather all her things.

This is now the official goodbye.

The guards and the helpers shared their last gossips to her with tears in their eyes.

She's not just their master. She's part of the household. She's part of their home.

The clamor stopped when the immense gate opened, without words, announcing the CEO's arrival. So Lisa stood in the lobby waiting for her wife, mentally drooling at the sight of Jennie in all white stepping down from the limousine as elegant as she would always be.

And with tired eyes, and a face you won't definetely try to mess with, Jennie welcomed her wife.

"I thought I had asked you to leave before I come home."

"I did not say yes to that."

Answered Lisa with her big charming smile. She's still the legal botherer.

"I know it's stupid, but ...my mouth just can'tresistaskingyoutorunaway withme." She added rapping, breaking it down it with a nervous laugh.

After an eternity later, the proposal registered to Jennie and she became the most beautiful deer in the headlights in this fanfic.

"No.no no I know. I'm just kidding. I just want to..to take this privilege of your touch before I go."

No one knows who Lisa's kidding, even herself, as she drew a long deep breath before placing both her wife's hand over her cheeks.

"You don't have to go."

Jennie retorted feebly, savoring the feeling of her wife's fluffy cheeks, knowing, it would be the last time.

And their people were just standing there, wiping their tears, watching a live telenovela.

"I must."

Lisa turned to cup Jennie's face like a mom leaving her toddler. Then the toddler immediately placed her hand over the gentle touch, hoping it'll last longer than it would be.

"Take care of yourself, ok? Get out of your office sometimes. I bet you won't get a real wife if you don't." Lisa laughed through her tears and she's not fighting them back anymore.

"Live."

Lisa breathed out, shutting her eyes hard as she let the last piece of her heart break.

"I love you."

Smiling, she leaned in desperate to convey the message to the only person she won't risk danger for.

"Don't. I'll runaway with you."

Lisa opened her eyes and smiled harder, knowing Jennie wouldn't lie. Rested her forehead, against her wife's Lisa whispered against those lips,

"I will never forget you. I can never forget home."

Jennie's tears fell free more than it could possibly had, shaking through the sobs as she did so.

"Goodbye Jen." Lisa flashed her broad charming smile once more while Jennie chewed on her bottom lip, holding on to Lisa's hand as long as she could, even until Lisa let go to wave at everyone for the final goodbye.

Lisa walked past Jennie who just stood there without turning around until Lisa's limousine was out to the gate. Out of their home.

And then their devastated people returned to their respective offices, leaving Jennie alone in the rain. No. That's a drama for pro.

She turned around to see nothing, boring her eyes to the gate where her wife's car had been.

And even only at the emptiness she had brought herself to say,

"I love you."

To the person she did never regret risking a lifetime for.
