The couple were both standing under the midnight sky; Lisa staring at the stars while Jennie was taking in the surroundings.

The graceful swaying of the trees made possible by the cool breeze, the picturesque outskirts of the town, and the artificial stars provided by the skyscrapers from the urban area overwhelmed Jennie Kim. Who would have thought lights are this beautiful in the dark, she thought. After all, she didn't have the chance to appreciate these from the four-sided office she was programmed to thrive in.

There's nothing really special in the place where they currently are but there is serenity they wouldn't find in the place they came from.

Lisa sat down the mattress and covered her body while looking at Jennie's solemn expression, hugging herself, now gazing at the stars.

"That's what these blankets are for and you know, lying down is the best position to stargaze." Lisa commented smiling as big as Hans.

Lisa lay her head against the soft cushion as Jennie sat on the mattress, pulling some portion of her wife's blanket.

"How come you don't know how to get here? You seem very familiar to the owner of this establishment."

"Oh! Haha. I'm honestly not good at remembering any place. I just come and go. But you know that feeling after a long time wandering? You'll crave a certain place, your feet will automatically take you there and you don't have to think further because it felt like you belong to it in the first place."

Jennie doesn't know. So she just continued watching the stars and contemplated what her wife just said as if she have heard it in a Boombayah language.

"The first time I got here I ran away from home, no phone with a broken car out there in the woods. I just followed the light from this tavern and Hans there was very generous to let me stay here for the night without knowing who I really am. Then my dad came here in the morning with a damn helicopter! G*d, it was so embarrassing!"

"He's worried. You're his only child."

"Oh please, they sent me abroad all my life for education and they will wonder how can't I stay in our house for an hour. I'd rather get lost. Besides, I'm more familiar to getting lost than I'm familiar to my own house, I discover places I can't even remember the names." Lisa ended her sentence chuckling but Jennie didn't have the humor to do the same.

"Wait. I never did try getting lost in this country other than here.  Let's try! By the look in your eyes I think you never go out that much." Lisa added with so much excitement, she even lurched up sitting.

"That's pretty dangerous, people might not always be like Hans and it's not practical to move from a place you're already safe." Jennie looked at her with hopeless eyes.

"It's not even safe to live, we'll all die. And I'll be with you, I'll report for you remember?"

"I thought you said you'll never bother me again after this?"

"You forgot I'm your wife, I could legally bother you whenever I want." Lisa teased Jennie, carefully watching the latter's reaction and what she witnessed was priceless.

Jennie Kim was actually smiling showing her perfect teeth for a cute gummy smile..

"That's honestly clever." Jennie replied laughing  while the astonished Lisa, was at the brink of dropping her jaw. But Lisa covered it up with a nervous laugh and a fake cough.

Jennie lied on her back against the mattress, looking at the stars with a contented smile. Lisa followed through, still unconvinced of what she's seeing.

"You're right, I don't really go out often. I'll probably go out with you if you asked politely." Jennie concluded still with that pretty smile, meeting Lisa's gaze.

Nope, Lisa didn't hear it. But she just smiled sweetly at her wife too.
