No matter how much their butlers tried to help Lisa, she still insisted to carry her wife up to her bedroom by herself.
It was a struggle she gladly went through and survived. Including the vomiting and the clothes changing shits. But she's not pissed at all, she just wanted to make Jennie feel better and comfortable enough to sleep tight.
After tending her wife's needs, Lisa then covered her wife's body with the comforter. And, just when she was about to leave, here's the cliché, Jennie clutched her shirt weakly, you know why, trying to make her stay.
"Lisa." Wow, she seemed sobered up now, she didn't slur. "Please don't leave." With closed eyes she begged her wife.
"No. I won't. I won't go anywhere." Another cliché, now sitting on the bed beside Jennie, caressing her hair.
They're both unaware of what each other was talking about. The meanings behind it was blurred from tiredness and intoxication. But for this moment, they didn't question anything. They didn't think of anything further. But one thing's for sure, it was truth to both of them.
Lisa caressed her wife's hair until she herself drowse and sleep before her drunk-ass wife could. Jennie then snuggled to her wife's bosom, her warmth became her peace, the steady beating heart lulled her to sleep.
--------------
The morning after was the actual doom for Jennie Kim's head.
After scrunching her face and all, in an attempt to ease the pain, she then became aware of the long limbs embracing her tight.
Images of the last night's pretty girl flashed on her mind and she remembered becoming a laughing mess. Then, holy piece of sheet Lisa! She thought of Lisa. What would Lisa think if she finds out? Would she even be mad? How could she be? She might even did it with him under the sta-oooops. It's Jennie's thoughts. The author is not responsible. Literally.
Jennie, erasing those excruciating thoughts, tried to free herself from the limbs, but it even pressed her more, snuggling its head to her aching one.
"Five minutes." The owner of the limbs quietly groaned out.
The husky voice made her heart race and not for a good thing. It now finally sank in. She sure did it. How dare she cheats on her wife? How could she win her back now with-Waaait. Why does she have to win her back she's not even hers? -Jennie's playing-dumb thoughts.
She tried again to no avail until a loud annoying ring came from the alarm clock. And the limb constricting her body reached for it, freeing her in the process.
She then stupidly sat up and the pain in her head did combo hits.
"Jen what's wrong? Can you go to work?" Worried Lisa followed through, soothing her wife's arms.
"It's ok. I could- LISA?!"
"What do you need?"
Surprised Jennie looked at her wife in disbelief while caring Lisa waited for her wife's request, looking at her tenderly.
"I thought you'd return tomorrow?" Perplexed Jennie wondered.
"D-did I call you?" Jennie added blushing furiously, thinking of hundred and more dumb things she probably did last night.
"No. I called you, and took you home." Lisa just smiled at her amnesia wife, accepting the fact that she won't remember everything she had said last night, and didn't mean it. But still, thinking of those slurred lines made her smile hard, heart fluttering with joy.
"I-I-"
"I know you're always needed in the company but taking a rest isn't illegal, right? I'll ask Jisoo what we could do.. if she's still-"
"Jisoo? What happened to Jisoo?"
"Don't worry she's unharmed, she just passed out somewhere. Our guards took her home." Lisa assured but Jennie's face contorted as hell.
"I'm thankful she's alive, I'll be able to kill her myself."
Lisa let out a hearty chuckle, amused at how calm her wife announced the death threat. But stopped as Jennie touched her jack-hammered head, drunk night's ghost relived on her face.
"Jen go back to sleep if you must. Believe me, I can't bring down an empire in just a day, so save your worries for tomorrow." Lisa meant what she said though she's laughing at her wife's bitter face. "I'll ask them to take care of you and I'll go home early too."
Jennie saw comfort in her wife's eyes and in the way she says the nickname only her late mother calls her.
"I'm very sorry I've ruined your date."
"You didn't."
They were just staring, lost in each other's eyes. Lost in their own world. Lost, is the sense of time. Lost, is the meaning of words. Lost, is the use of words. Reality,
is each other's eyes.
"I-I have to go. You know, ahm, but I'll go home soon. Wait for me." Flustered Lisa, ran for her life before Jennie could even wake up from daydreaming.
Lisa fled from the scene successfully, closing the bedroom door, hands on her racing heart and a broad smile plastered on her face.
"Lovely.." Jennie mumbled breathlessly with her gummy smile, dropping herself dramatically back to the bed.
