Isabella's POV

When I heard his dare I thought he was going to pick Olivia but instead of leaning to his left he leaned into me putting his lips so close to my ears I could feel the warmth of his breath.

"What if..." he whispered into my ear. "What if after this game I take you to my apartment and take you to my bed... Image all the things I could do to you. Imagine my hands all over your body, my lips kissing yours... But that's not going to happen, because what can I do with a virgin Mary like you. I prefer my girls a bit more experienced. You're pathetic to think anyone would want you." He whispered and without thinking I raised my hand and slapped it across his cheek. He leaned back and looked completely surprised by my reaction. What did you expect?

"You disgust me... You're nothing but an arrogant ass." I yelled and when I looked around I saw everybody, including Drew, looking at us with chocked faces. I sighed and stood up before running out of the room, down the stairs and outside the house as fast as I could and I could only hope nobody followed me because I just wanted to be alone. I walked into the garden and was completely alone. Good for me. I sat down on one of the garden chairs and pulled my knees up to my body and that's when I burst out in tears. Why does he hate me so much, I didn't do anything to deserve those hurtful comments. Why? I thought I left high school behind but the childlike behavior just follows me around. It was always like that... Look at her clothes, look at her haircut, look at her... All our money went to alcohol, so no new clothes for me. I worked every weekend at a restaurant waiting tables to pay for my clothing, my own food and school. Yes, I do own a lot of clothing that covers almost every inch of my body. Long jeans, long sleeves, turtlenecks and a fair amount of hoodies, but that's what you do when you need to cover up bruises most of the week. With mom it was just neglect but when dad started drinking he became aggressive. Everything I did was wrong according to him, so I would receive a beating for brushing my teeth or cooking his dinner wrong. When I moved to college I was finally free. My parents have no clue where I am and I would like to keep it that way. But Lukas was right, nobody wants me, not even my parents.

I was startled when someone placed a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw it was Drew. He sits down in front of me and places his hands on my knees. "I don't know what he said to you, but don't let him ruin your night out. Remember what you told me? He's not worth it." He whispered while rubbing his fingers over my knee.

"I know, he just said some pretty mean stuff." I sobbed while trying to wipe away my tears.

"How about I make you forget him? Isabella will you dance with me?" He put out his hand and I grabbed it and before I knew it we were back inside the house. When we got to the dancefloor I was grabbed by someone. Mia held my wrist and pulled me to other side of the room forcing me to leave Drew behind.

"I'm so sorry for whatever my dick brother said to you." She pouted and hugged me tightly.

"I'm fine, really." I spoke over the music.

"He's just Luke, he's moody, angry and an idiot. Wherever he goes trouble follows him and often I'm left to pick up the pieces. I'm sorry Bella." She slurred her words but I knew she meant it. She hugged me again and caressed my hair. "Your hairrrr is so soft." She slurred again.

"Exactly how drunk are you?" I giggled.

"Drunk enough to dance like there is no tomorrow." She chuckled and I joined her. "Wanna dance?"

"I promised Drew I would dance with him. So, I'm going to go find him."

"What's up with you and Drew? You guys are cute togetherrrr!" She said while pinching one of my cheeks.
