Forty-Four: that's disgusting

Lukas's POV

The bucket of ice Bells was holding stood on the table as she walked to the front door. She turned around and her eyes met mine but no matter how sad she looked it couldn't calm my anger even though my stomach twisted and turned when I saw how hard she was trying to hold back her tears. She picked up her shoes not even bothering to put them on as she went out the door as fast as she could.

My front door flew shut and as soon as the sound of it echoed through the living room, I was taken aback by a hand swatting at my chest.

"Fucking asshole!" Mia yelled at me while backhanding my chest and I tried to push her out of my way so I could get some peace in the comfort of my bedroom. I looked at her with dark eyes, trying my best to make it clear I didn't want to talk, I just wanted to sulk, by myself to be exact. I reached for my doorknob opening the door just a crack but as stubborn as always Mia pulled the door shut, her hand over mine. "You're not running away this time!" She yelled almost deafening me.

"Leave me alone!" I barked at her, rolling my eyes when she stood between me and the door, her arms crossed in front of her chest.

"Not a chance! Why did you do that? What the fuck is wrong with you!" She barked back, putting her hands in her side and I knew she wasn't going to move out of the way on her own.

"Get out of my way Mia!" I scoffed while pushing her to the side, her ridiculous high heels causing her to lose her balance and stumble away from the door. I quickly entered my room trying not to explode in the prosses because I was still beyond furious and confused by what happened half an hour ago.

"If you ever push me again, I will wax your eyebrows in your sleep, and trust me that's not a look you could rock, ever!" Mia yelled as she followed me into my room. Fucking hell, I should have locked the door behind me.

"Leave. Me. The. Fuck. Alone!" I yelled, my voice furious and scary. I sat down on the end of my bed trying to keep it together because slowly I was falling apart, caused by something that confused me more than anything, I just couldn't wrap my mind around it, and I needed time to think.

"No! Tell me why you acted like a fucking dick and I'll leave you alone. Not that's anything different from usual, but to Bella? Fuck you Lukas for threating her that way!" Mia spitted at me but I had my reasons...

"It's none of your business!" I said, putting my hands on my knees. Mia stood in front of me, her eyes judging me. I squeezed my legs to control myself from an inevitable outburst, because I was cooking on the inside, feeling of disgust and disappointment clouding my mind.

"It became my business the moment you put your fucking dick in MY best friend!" She yelled, her voice high and angry.

"Pff so what!" I blurted out without thinking it through, rolling my eyes at her.

"So what? So what? Are you kidding me! She's not one of your fucking sluts Lukas! Fuck I want to punch you in the face for saying that!" Mia yelled, squeezing her eyes at me and I knew she was trying her everything not to smack me.

"I don't know...Maybe she is!" I scoffed even though I didn't mean it whatsoever, she was so much more but at this point I didn't know what to feel. Before I could blink my eyes, I was seeing stars because Mia slapped me in the face, my cheek burning with a flat hand pattern, and I knew I probably deserved it. I stood up towering over her but with Mia, intimidation never works especially not when she's angry and I had never seen her this furious in my entire life.

"Wake up! Mom would be so fucking disappointed with you right now." She yelled at me pointing her finger at my chest.

"You're not mom Mia, don't try to lecture me!" I snapped pushing her to the side, trying to escape this fucking nightmare as I walked into the living room desperately looking for my car keys. I needed to punch someone, I needed to get out before I was going to burst.
