Lukas's POV
It felt so incredibly good seeing her smile, happy, relaxed, all of the above. And I was too, I found my happiness through her; the most gorgeous creature on this fucking planet, and she loved me just as much as I loved her. I had been looking forward to this moment, to have her give me something permanent of hers, ever since we both lost that bet. I was even more excited to draw on her, to be her first.
She giggled as she discussed her tattoo for me with Ro. I already knew it was going to be something on my ribs, but she told me not to look until it was finished. Ro was one of the best so whatever she would pick for me it would either way be pretty damn good.
"Lie down on your side and put your arm up Lukey boy." Ro laughed and at the fact that he was treating me like a rookie I rolled my eyes. While rolling them to the back of my head I pulled my T-shirt over my head, adjusting my cap once that was done. I didn't wear them often but now that I saw the look in Bella's eyes at the sight of it was going to give it a try.
I lied down on the table as I saw Bella fidgeting with her hands while Ro was preparing the machine. "Come here, you can watch." I smiled at her pulling a small rolling stool next to me before patting it with my hand. Her face lit up and so did mine, knowing this was a special moment for the both of us.
"You better hold his hand Isabella, he cried like a baby last time." Ro laughed, sitting down on his stool before rolling over the us, winking and eyeing at my girl.
"Baby, don't listen to him." I playfully scoffed, adding a headshake to my expression as well. "Do you want her to be scared?" I shrugged at Ro, knowing he was only joking around, but still I didn't want her to think it hurt more than it did.
"Does it really hurt that bad." Bells, said, her voice a bit panicked.
Ro chuckled before leaning towards her, hanging halfway over me. "Stings like a bitch." He said making the machine buzz in front of her, her eyes suddenly wide.
"Ro, dude!" I said smacking the back of my hand against his arm, looking at him annoyed. "He's just messing with you Bells, I'll be gentle, Ro is a butcher." I scrunched my nose at her, her face instantly relaxing.
"I'm a damn fine butcher if that's what you mean, the best." Ro said in his defense, while he put the template on my ribs.
"He's also not very discreet and a little conceited." I said, making Bella laugh while I tried to figure out what it was she picked for me.
"I'll keep that in mind while I'm making this permanent on you. Maybe I'll add something fun from myself to that."
"Don't you dare, this one is hers." I squeezed my eyes at him even though I knew he was only joking. Ro was a good friend, my boss, someone who understood me, someone who had been there when I was in trouble. His solution for me was shoving a tattoo machine in my hands as an outlet, to learn how to focus when everything around me was a blur during my first year of college. The alcohol and party drugs were too tempting, getting me in all sorts of situations and fights. I wasn't proud of it, but I wanted to leave it all behind, especially now I had other things to focus on, a brighter future with someone I needed along the way.
"Isabella, I'm sorry for tattooing Drew by the way." Ro lookup up at her through his thick eyelashes while prepping me. "I had no idea." He put his lips in a straight line, looking sincerely sorry.
"It's not your fault." She lightly shook her head. "You couldn't have known, but let's not talk about it okay?" She sweetly smiled at him and thank god she didn't want to talk about it because that took me back to the day I found out, the anger already filling my thoughts again.
