Isabella's POV

Driving Lukas's car was weird. I have my driver's license but I don't own a car, I can barely afford my crappy apartment. It had been I while since I sat down behind the wheel of a vehicle and I'm pretty sure if I put a single scratch on his Mustang, he'll kill me. Hence, my nervousness and the fact Lukas had his eyes on me the entire time wasn't helping, at all!

"Can't believe a girl is driving my car." Lukas muttered to himself but I heard every word of it, taking offence. I wasn't doing this because I wanted to, he practically forced me.

"You should be happy I'm taking care of your drunk ass." I snarled at his direction and turned my head to face him. He was sitting completely relaxed with his head against the window while twirling his fingers around the frays of his frayed jeans.

"Taking care of me? You're just driving me home, don't exaggerate." He said while looking at me with furrowed brows.

"Well, I should be working right now so you could at least be a tiny bit thankful." I scoffed trying to keep an eye on the road instead of being distracted by the drunk pretty boy next to me. All he did was bend forward to grab something from the glove compartment which caught my attention. He took out a metal flask that looked like something you would hide your alcohol in, I would know my dad collected those things, including the contents. He opened it and put it to his full lips before chugging down the mystery liquid. I released one hand from the wheel to grasp the flask from his hand tugging it away from him. I put the cap back on and threw the flask as far back in the car as I could. Lukas looked astound by my action unable to speak as his mouth parted and then closed again sitting back in silence and crossing his arms to protest. "You keep alcohol in your car? Are you completely out of your mind?" I said raising my voice causing it to echo trough the car. "You know I don't care if you are moody, angry, constantly mean and love to insult people. If that's who you are that's fine, but drinking and driving... I just have no respect left for you! You put other people in danger by doing so! Are you really that self-centered you only care about yourself!" I yelled at him while he looked at me with glazed eyes failing to react. I saw him swallow before he slid down into his seat without saying a word. Minutes passed while an awkward silence filled the car.

"I'm sorry I almost got you in trouble with your boss." Lukas said, almost whispering while looking at me apologetic. Oh it speaks.

"Nevermind!" I snapped. I wasn't going to fall for his sad puppy looks again. He opened the window to let some fresh air enter in the car, which was filled with the smell of alcohol and cigarettes that lingered on his clothes. The fresh air brushed my skin and made strands of my blonde hair dance in the wind blocking my view on the road. I tried to keep it out of my face by attempting to catch the flyways. Lukas must have noticed because he quickly closed the window causing the strands to lay flat against my head again.

"I said I was sorry." He repeated, turning up the volume of his voice and shifting to me in his seat. His face turned into the sight of a thundercloud, moody as always.

"And I don't care if you are." I said rolling my eyes and shrugging my shoulders at him for a second before turning my focus back to the road. A beautiful sunset falling over the streets, with the sky a beautiful shade of orange.

"You never listen to me, do you!" He yelled throwing his hands in the air with disbelieve and I could hear him sigh frustrated.

"What's that supposed to mean!?" I yelled back, still trying to focus on the road ahead.

"I tell you I'm sorry, you don't want to hear it. I tell you to stay away from Drew, you go running into his arms. I come to the diner to see you, you can't get me out fast enough. You never listen, you never do what I want. It's infuriating." He yelled while putting a hand through his hair, his fingers tugging at his roots.
