Lukas's POV
While I anticipated peeling away that uniform of hers layer by layer, her eyes had fallen shut, her head resting against the side window. She looked so peaceful, an indescribable contrast to half an hour ago when she threw her shoe at my head. I didn't want to wake her up when we arrived at her place, slowly opening the door on her side, making sure she wouldn't fall out face first. The door making her fall into a void immediately woke her, her eyes wide.
"What's going on?" She braced herself for something that wasn't there, cause I had already caught her in my arms.
"It's okay, your lazy ass fell asleep on the way home." I teased her, the sight of her dazed face to adorable not to take in.
"Well, I'm fully away now!" She laughed, getting to her feet, her eyes widening even more the moment her toes touched the concrete. "Shit!" She sighed while dropping her forehead onto my shoulder.
"What?" I asked, hypnotized by her touch.
"Look down at my feet." She muttered into my hoodie, a chuckle escaping from her as I pushed her back a little so I could see. I looked down like she asked me to, curious and a little bit worried. I had to stop myself from not lingering on her chest as the uniform was doing a great job in exposing it but self-control was always key with her. I laugh rolled of my tongue the moment I saw what she was talking about. On one of her feet she was only wearing a sock, her shoe missing, gone. We must have left it at the parking lot and at that thought I remembered the shoe flying towards me at the speed of light and I couldn't help but burst out in laughter, pulling her towards my chest. "You think that's funny?" She pouted, trying to hold back a laugh herself. I could tell by the way the corners of her mouth desperately wanted to tug up.
"Only a little." I burst out again after the words left my mouth and at that she playfully pushed at my chest before shaking her head with a smirk.
"Asshole!" She laughed as I was taking pleasure out of her misfortune.
"You have to admit it's at least a little, nope a whole lot amusing. You shouldn't have thrown it at my face." I chuckled, putting my hands on either side of her face to kiss the tip of her nose, my lips still smiling at the thought of her one bare foot.
Her face turned into an amusing pout. So Fucking cute. "Lukas, that was my favorite pair of high tops." She stuck out her bottom lip and it was too tempting, like she was deliberately inviting me. I had no choice but to pull her face to mine and claim her lips, tasting the salt of her dried-up tears.
"I'll buy you new ones." I blurted out, transforming her pout into a frown. "Stop with the frowning baby, it'll give you wrinkles. The more you frown the more shoes I'll buy you!" I laughed.
Her frown turned into widened eyes and a parted mouth. "Lukas you don't h-"
"What did you say? Cause you're at two pair with that frown on your face." I smiled at her, quickly pecking her lips again, her hands sliding around my wrists. I was going to buy her new ones even if she didn't want to, so I found nothing better than to put my hands on her waist and lift her over my shoulder, laughter coming out of her mouth as a result. "That's better!" I smiled while taking her bag to throw it over my other shoulder, shutting the door and locking my car while she hung over my shoulder like the gorgeous sack of potatoes she is.
And like that I carried her all the way up the stairs, because I know how much she dislikes taking the elevator. Out of breath I put her down, the smirk on her face catching my attention as she grabbed her keys from her backpack. "What?" I smiled trying to catch my breath.
"Don't tell me you're already out of breath?" She grinned as she put the key in the keyhole, twisting it with an even bigger smirk on her face.
"I just carried your ass up here, show a little gratitude." I laughed and of course rolled my eyes as she pushed the door open, dropping her backpack in the floor while she pushed the lonely shoe off her foot.
